Curious if any one else have this problem as well. I injured my shoulder wrestling my brother when I was a kid and didn't get immediate treatment because I was scared. I guess I dislocated it because I couldn't move but after a couple of hours I got some mobility back but it felt out of place.
I eventually saw a doc about it and did a couple months of PT. The doc only saw some fluid build-up and said I'll need a shoulder scope to investigate further. I think I only got a x-ray. Maybe a MRI would have showed something different.
I kind of got used to it all of these years since I've strengthened it with PT. But it kind of messes with my head. It's only really noticeable when I'm shirtless. I guess I've developed like a tick, because I can't help but shrug my shoulder up so it doesn't feel out of place.
Is this something that a surgery can even fix? At the same time, I also don't want to potentially weaken my shoulder due to a surgery. But if there's a safe option I would consider it because it's a nagging issue that's always on my mind but obviously not always intensely. Nonetheless, it's taking up mental energy.
