i had labrum repair surgery in Jan 2020, it still aint right. i cant press as heavy anymore, my shoulder blade sticks out further near the scapula than the other and causes issues, shoulder sits lower than the other, that side's delt isnt as strong. mine required 5 holes drilled into the bone and 5 sutures/anchors. Doc said it looked dimpled like a golf ball in there from bone on bone, i also had tears/holes in my labrum and severe fraying. i wore the brace for 6 weeks and slept upright in a chair the entire time, did all the physical therapy, did bpc-157/tb500, GH, cold therapy, etc. i still do a few of the PT exercises prior to any chest or shoulder work for a warmup.
to this day if i go too heavy it still feels like its going to rip apart. it took about a year to be able to bench even 135 again. Prior to the labrum issues i was doing DC training and working up to RP sets of 385.
so strength has suffered a ton. i wont even think about putting 385 on a bar nowadays, at least for now lol.
i hope you have better luck than i have.
