IM GETTING READY TO START A NEW CYCLE OF TREN DBALL AND WINNY.I HAVE BEEN OFF FOR ALMOST 4 MONTHS NOW MY SHOULDER HAS BEEN GIVING ME PROBLEMS.DO YOU GUYS THINK IF I GET BACK ON MY SHOULDER WILL REBUILD.IF NOT I NEED A GOOD CHEST AND SHOULDER RECOVERY WORKOUT. :)

Dont know the exact problem you have (you didnt say), but if its the general nagging shoulder aches, add some deca. For me, deca's famed joint pain recovery works best in the delts. Even at 200mg I get those results.

Yep, Deca should help out. Also, try to cut out barbell press. Stick with dumbbell. The bar can put alot of pressure on the shoulders due to restricted movement!!

Good luck bro!!

mikes, u just promped me to make a new post, ull c what i mean

Shoulder pain

I've had problems with shoulder pain and tendonitis in each arm. My doc. put me on Naproxin and it worked pretty good. Most docs will readilly prescibe it since it's just an inti-inflamatory. I still make sure I really warm up my shoulders before hitting em' hard though.

I had dislocation problems with both of my shoulders and a seperation on my left a few years back. MikeS hit it on the head with the deca. it will help a ton. also make sure that you warm up very well before each work out. and not just the delt. warm up all the support muscles and muscles that have the same insertion points. shoulders are a tricky area. I also try to keep my shoulder and chest routines away from each other by atleast a couple of days. let us know how it works out bro.
good luck and be safe....

It depends what's wrong

I had bone spurs in mine and the only thing that helped was surgery. Now I have bone spurs in the other. :( - CH

Damn that must be a bitch. I have had bone spurrs in my feet (severely flat footed) and that hurt like a bitch. You never know how much you actually move a certain body part until you have pain in it. Kind of like how everyone seems to slap your back only when you are sunburned.

If the Deca works about how long should it take to notice (frontloading to get levels up immediately at a bout 600mg)

I usually start to see results in Deca in about three weeks w/o front loading. but you can run a fast acting deca for the first three weeks then pull it. same idea as running prop while loading sust ect. but I've never personaly used a fast acting deca, so I'm not really sure on how "fast" it really is. you may want to ask around or hopefully someone will post on it here.
good luck and be safe....

I had a bad right shoulder, so I switched to dumbell cause it felt much better. The best move I could have made, my chest has made great improvements fromt the dumbells.

my experience...

has been that Deca does give some relief, but once I'm off (like now) every freakin' joint is achy.... The way Deca works is by increasing the synovial fluid (sp?) in the gaps between your bones... hence more fluid in the joints = relief. For me it was temporary, now I'm wondering if the results could be better and longer lasting if I had been on it longer....

Looking for comments and input!

looking like i may need to get a second surgery but in the mean time perhaps the Deca will provide some lubrication

fast acting is not Deca persay but small ester nandrolones to use correct terms as Deca(noate) is the ester

ie. nandrolone no-ester, phenylpropionate

with Deca to get the effect up to speed i'd say ppre-load heavy and that is what i will do to get levels right to desired amount

Are you doing flat bench presses? Those can be a killer on the shoulders. I had a left shoulder problem for the longest time. There was a thread on Gade about flat B.P and how bad they where for you. Ever since I stopped doing those I have had zero problems.

for me pre-injury i always did incline presses as i believe it is superior regardless

now i can not do any presses at all without great risk--it's pretty f*ed

I hurt my shoulder almost 2 years ago. Well after seeing 3 doctors I'm back in the gym. The first gave pain killers (twice!) and then cort. After that he sent me to a Ortho specialist. He gave me another shot of cort and sent me to physical therapy. He said if it hurts again maybe surgery (and yes, it started to hurt again an month later). Then I read an artical in M&F about Prolotherapy. Saw the third Doc and and 4 shots of prolo in 2 months and I'm back in the gym! Check it out!

PLEASE!!!!!! send me whatever info you have on this Prolo thing

i do not want to have another surgery if by any chance i can avoid it
relay anything and everything you would be so kind to take the time to do here:

Here is an excert of the doc I sent ....

Prolotherapy is helpful for what conditions?
The treatment is useful for many different types of musculoskeletal pain, including arthritis, back pain, neck pain, fibromyalgia, sports injuries, unresolved whiplash injuries, carpal tunnel syndrome, partially torn tendons, ligaments and cartilage, degenerated or herniated discs, TMJ and sciatica.

What is prolotherapy?
First, it is important to understand what the word prolotherapy itself means. "Prolo" is short for proliferation, because the treatment causes the proliferation (growth, formation) of new ligament tissue in areas where it has become weak.
Ligaments are the structural "rubber bands" that hold bones to bones in joints. Ligaments can become weak or injured and may not heal back to their original strength or endurance. This is largely because the blood supply to ligaments is limited, and therefore healing is slow and not always complete. To further complicate this, ligaments also have many nerve endings and therefore the person will feel pain at the areas where the ligaments are damaged or loose.
Tendons are the name given to tissue which connects muscles to bones, and in the same manner tendons may also become injured, and cause pain.
Prolotherapy uses a dextrose (sugar water) solution, which is injected into the ligament or tendon where it attaches to the bone. This causes a localized inflammation in these weak areas which then increases the blood supply and flow of nutrients and stimulates the tissue to repair itself.
Historical review shows that a version of this technique was first used by Hippocrates on soldiers with dislocated, torn shoulder joints. He would stick a hot poker into the joint, and it would then miraculously heal normally. Of course, we don’t use hot pokers today, but the principle is similar—get the body to repair itself, an innate ability that the body has.

As stated above.....stay away from the flat bench movements and use more dumbells on the shoulder presses. Also, like MikeS stated a good maintance dose at like 200mg of deca is very beneficial. Take care.
