I dislocated my right shoulder years ago. Wait, shit, it is decades ago.
When I was in my early 20s I was a scrapper and got into a brawl that popped out my shoulder. This ended in me in the ER being put under and having my shoulder put back in.
Since that point, 20 years ago, I have popped it out numerous times. Rock climbing, working out...now it pops out when I am sleeping. This is my right shoulder.
I am biting the bullet and went for a private MRI-A (CANADA) for $800 the other day.
In Canada we have two bottle necks. One for MRI and one for surgery. I am hoping to get into the public system for surgery within two months. If I cannot I am going to pay for the procedure ($10k ish).
I cant stand waking up and having to put on my sling and being out of commission for 3-6 days anymore.
I have not back squatted for close to two decades because of this. My standing press looks like Shi* because my fore arm cannot go parallel to my head. I am getting this done!!!
I am 43 and hoping for a quick rehab.
I will log my rehab in case others might learn something. I am hoping for a Jan 2014 surgery date.
Any input on additional "supplements" is appreciated. I am on 100mg/enth per week. This is a DR script. I also hope to get my DR putting me on pharm HGH.
Insight, thoughts, ideas are appreciated. For starters I have tried to use my left hand to use my computer mouse as I am a finance/office dweeb.
Ideas? Or thoughts on Montana based Doctors for this procedure?
