Stick to hammer chest press machine. For chest

And machine or dumbbell side lateral raises(L) lots of sets.. 8-12 sets slow tempo

And some some rear delt work with dumbbells.

Add in db shrugs but dont let ur arms fully extend downwards.

Fuck presses with barbbell or dumbbbell if ur already injured or past injuries.

8-20 rep range...

Get it scoped by an ortho. It's the only way to know for sure what's going on in there. It could be an impingement that needs taking care of. Could clean some scar tissue out while he's in there too
 
Great thread with a lot of very interesting advice which I might just be using for my own shoulder problems.
I found "the 7 minute rotator cuff solution" (book) very informative also.

??? Why is a scope better than an MRI???

To the OP, a sports physical therapist can fix you up in no time if you listen to them. I good trainer could also. There is a reason these professions exist...

Wouldn't you need an MRI before getting it scoped and be diagnosed with something ?

I have an appointment w Ortho surgeon next week to get MRI script

The ortho will send you to get an mri before he does anything. I'm just saying it needs to be scoped to be sure what it is going on. My ortho has told me on many occasions mri's have shown tears, but once he scoped the patient's shoulder realized there wasn't a tear.
