To the guys that have achieved shredded glutes / insane conditioning,

is there more to it or is it just long enough and hard enough suffering? Any tips, things you have learned along the way? Thanks

Slap that on every fitness instagram page there is.

That Kamali video is one of the greatest videos of all time. :headbang::headbang::headbang::headbang:

I feel like most guys don't give themselves long enough to diet, get way behind and have to catch up just to look decent on stage, do stupid things instead of just looking at the two variables that really matter (diet, cardio...your training should be constant so it's not a variable).

And not wanting to suffer. Shredded glutes meant being chronically fatigued. It also meant everything taking a lot of extra effort to do (like getting up from the table after a meal, for instance). Being completely mindfucked the last 3-4 weeks. Abstaining from just about anything other than prep, with maybe a few exceptions here and there (if they were well planned out).

And let's get real for a moment: most guys think they're leaner than they are and have everyone up their ass telling them how great they are.

If you believe for a second that genetics play no role in
getting ripped glutes............................

.........................Then explain this!

The first pic is Flex Lewis.
The second pic is John Meadows.

Are you saying JM needed to drop more BF?

Of course not! His BF was lower than Flex's.

There's your answer!

:yeahthat: Genetics, genetics, genetics

As well the ability to get so conditioned to have paper thin skin, some guys are shredded and see striations everywhere but their skin looks thick, which takes away from the conditioned look.
There was a competitor at my last show, had the best striated glutes of the show yet his abs and lower back looked weeks out, skin was paper thin as well.

I'm seeing some guys are incredibly ripped on certain bodyparts but not others. For them to get rid of the last ounce of fat in the lagging body parts they have to suffer the time it takes but end up sacrificing muscle in the body parts that already were in shape. Is this a common problem or will the potential muscle loss be evenly distributed throughout the body?

IMHO lagging body parts appear less lean because the ratio of muscle to fat is off.... So your fat could be evenly distributed, it just appears as more when there is less muscle.

YES - genetics!
I can half ass diet down for beach and boat season and have glute striations but still have some love handle action going on.
