sick and dizzyness while training

Lately when I train about halfway into my first workout i get a light headed and then slight dizzyness, and later on a upset stomach. The only time I ever got light headed was when I would do 1 rep max. I been working trough it, but today I got half way dont with my leg w/o and I felt like shit and called it a day. Dont know it im not breathing properly or what. Any toughts or comments will be apriciated.
 
do you have any blood sugar issues?
 
check your blood pressure out.
 
Blood pressure, holding your breath while doing a 1 rep max, not getting enough fluids in you. Try to eliminate 2 of the 3 and find out wich one is left. If nothing else, check with your family doctor.
 
I can't remember a time not getting sick when training legs. If your training real hard you will feel sick either push through it or pull back.
 
i usually get this when doing legs. i find lowering caffeine intake before my workout helped me (if you use any stimulants pre WO).
Could also be low blood sugar, try taking dextrose pre workout/ drinking during with water.
Also do you leave 1.5hrs to digest your last protein meal, it could be your stomach competing for blood for digestion with your muscles.

Also have you been using creatine monohydrate? this stuff is poisonous when in contact with fluids in your stomach, i started throwing up and feeling bad during workouts only to find it was the creatine.

just a few other ideas........
 
What is the number for normal blood sugar level?? I could get one of those diabetic blood sugar testers at the pharmcy and check it, right??

I get that alot. I found that for me anyway it is partly dehydration and partly not enough available blood sugars (or muscle glycogen). I drink Pedialyte (for babies) to balance out my electrolytes and plenty of water. Seems to do the trick.......fwiw

when training hard on any bodypart i get dizzyness and my heart starts racing when i finish my set,i breath in through my nose and out through my mouth and wait till it subsides then hit the iron again. I need to get my BP checked though!
 
Try eating some complex carbs about an hour before training and drink plenty of water bfore, during and after. At least the complex carbs will help stabilize blood sugar and the water will help keep the carbs shuttling into your system. It kind of sounds like blood sugar rather than BP, but go and get a check up from your doc. Better safe than sorry.
 
You are experiencing exercise-induced hypoglycemia which means your blood sugar started to bottom out while you were exercising. You need to make sure you have some kind of complex carbs before training like oldfella said. I used to get it all the time myself. Take care of it because you'll lose muscle if you don't.

My diet is good, it could be better. Been super busy with work and stuff at home so that is interfearing with training and diet. 30 to 45 min before training I take a serving of Shock Therapy
