I personally don't like that much of a roadmap of veins. Striations look good but I think too many veins takes away from the person's aesthetics. But, I'm no pro.

I think he looks SICK in a GOOD WAY. Looks insane... massive, freaky, ripped, vascular ... Awesome. The guy improves every year. How long he can sustain that condition is the question.

It's funny .. we all forget about another freak who was just as veiny...

branch has pretty much always had that grainy look. he had it well before he was a pro.

what is also amazing is that he turned pro at a bodyweight of 217 and i believe now steps onstage at 240+. so he has slapped on 20+lbs of muscle along with better conditioning in a relatively short amount of time considering that he was already at a very high level of development. i know its been played out millions of times on the boards but i would love to take a look at what he is doing supp. wise

Yeah, but...I never found his veins to be aesthetically pleasing. Just kinda took away from his physique IMO.

Intensity

Paul is definately a founding father of vascularity but Branch has that graininess that Paul did not have. Way more striations. This is also a diferent era. Like comparing the Babe to Bonds. Apples and oranges. I'm impressed with the fact that Branch put on 40lbs. in such a short period of time and it is actually more conditioned than before. Usually muscle takes a considerable amount of time to mature. So when makes gains like that you often sacrafice density for volume but not in this case. I will say that Branch is a fav. pro of mine to watch train. Not beacause he trains the heaviest but because of his intensity. He's an intense dude. it probably doesn't hurt having a training partner that's as strong as J.J. Whenever I get demotivated I throw in the 05' Road to the "O"-DVD to wach them train.:st:r-wars

Branch is a freak. I think he's got one of the best combinations of raw size and hard-as-nails conditioning out there.

Now that you mention it he does have a Yates like physique.Impressive!

Yeah man, me too. I like the balance that Cutler or even Phil has actually. I think it's more aesthetic looking. I did not like the texture that Yates had either, it was too bumpy to me.
