My wife's(and kids) first mag cover. She doesn't compete or anything. This was a special on mom's in fitness around our community. 43 years young. Used to do tri's and marathons. Now teaches classes at our gym and lifts heavy with me. 5'8, 155lbs in this pic

On a trip to Chicago, before heading to the WIT. I'm luckier than I deserve, for sure.

i like your black and white pic Pheedno, it's good. nice spatial relationship between your wife and the city street below. photography is all about capturing a 3D scene in a 2D image. it's a better pic than the magazine photographers took for their cover. but they did have a nice model to work with.

Thanks, brother. I know jack about photography. I took about 15 shots of her at that high rise apartment in Chicago. The most "playing" I've figured out how to do is switch to different shades and block out a face.

Thanks, everyone. She's flattered with the responses. She's a pretty modest woman but has a exhibitionist shade to her personality. Posing for photographs is a new interest/like.
They had quite a few of the photo shoot pics in the mag that looked great. I know they didn't do any airbrushing but the make up team they had for the "models" was amazing. My wife is young looking for her age but they took another 5 years off with the way they made her up

She's always low body fat but I just put her on a quick 5 week "diet" to tighten her up for the shoot.

170g Protein
270g Carbs that dropped to 200 about 2 weeks prior
40g fat
Weight training 3 days a week with me. She gets cardio teaching boot camp and doing classes so there wasn't any additional added.

Had to comment on my own post. My very good friend and partner. We obviously shared a lot. She just turned 40. Known each other for 15 years. She was a trainer also. In the health a fitness business her whole life.
She had seizures from spinal injuries to her neck from a car accident a few years ago. She was taking anti seizure meds and working out everyday. Recently got in great shape and was thinking of competing again in figure or bikini.
Unfortunately this past Thursday night while playing with her new puppy in her back yard, she had a massive seizure which stopped her heart. It was a few minutes till they found her. EMT's tried to bring her back but it was too late. She was in great cardio shape too.
I know no one here knew her but I wanted to mention it because she was a fellow sister in iron.
Love you Michelle! I'll she you again.

I am just now reading about your loss. Very difficult posts to read and no doubt write.
Yes, this is different than the loss of a parent. The loss of a lover and friend touches
a place in your that you didn’t know you had. And it touches it deeply and for a very
long time. I am sorry that we, the board, never had a chance to get to know her. I think
she would have been a real asset from the way you describe her.

My heartfelt condolences go out to you. This must be a very difficult time for you but
you are strong and you will get through this. It’s not easy I know, but it will happen. Know
that nobody can take your memories away. They will live with you forever and for that
you can be grateful, and for the time you had together. You’ll see her again, no worries.

I'd like to thank the people who commented on my GF. It's been a few weeks now and I still think she's going to show up or call me. I keep waking up in the middle of the night thinking I heard her. Never lost a soulmate before, a significant other. My heart goes out to anyone on here who lost a loved one. I still don't know how to act. I tell people about her and I have weird thoughts like is she watching, am I supposed to cry? I'm I supposed to be strong, I don't know how to act. Think my heart and soul is still in shock. I actually feel weird when people say "sorry for your loss" I feel like they should tell her "sorry for your loss" She's dead I'm here.
