Silly question... How much rice can you eat?

We were talking at the gym today about the chore of eating. One guy was able to put down 400g of rice along with 225g chicken. That seems like a huge volume of food. I personally can do 200-250g no sweat. 300g rice starts to be a chore. How much volume rice can you handle before adding in other carbs that are easy to get down? I see Luki with like 12 rice cakes, oatmeal, apple... idk how you can fit that much food let alone chew all those rice cakes lol. Pineapple/mango I add. Some guys were talking about honey but that would mess with my energy too much.

Go to carbs when you just cant add more rice to a meal??
 
Never been a rice eater but 1 and 3/4 pizza at once, can't get 2 lol.

I feel like for context people should state if it was mixed with something. I know for example I have difficulty eating 1lb chicken breast...put some ketchup or marinara sauce on it...slides on down.
 
Right now during a bulk one of my meals I do is 150g shredded chicken mixed with 300g jasmine rice then I’ll have another bowl of just 300g jasmine rice I eat with it..so 600g rice in 1 sitting..
 
Last off season was 325g rice x3 meals and I could eat more.

This last prep I was doing 509g rice 3x for my high days. It was a ton of rice but being hungry made it go down easier
 
I usually cook 180g of raw sushi rice in 1 cup of water which makes 450g of rice. I typically spread that into three meals (100g beef & 100g rice) but I can down the whole pot no problems. I prefer to eat potatoes tho, I seem to eat less calories overall and feel fuller with potatoes.

i regularly put down 500-600g per meal + 8oz cooked meat. If the rice volume goes down, the meat goes up.
 
Even now in my elderly years I can eat 3-400g of Japanese rice no problem.
My bigger meals are usually 200g rice and 300-350g chicken breast (raw weight) as I eat carbs more frequently than proteins.
I each mochi a lot (with soy sauce and nori) as it is high-density - and tasty.

One of the few foods I can eat a lot of now.
 
In Europe we weigh everything before cooking, but I try weighed my 160g sushi rice after cooking thats give 800g, and I often ate 200g of dry rice, which is about 1000g after cooking for one meal + meat 220-350g before cooking and about 300g for one meal without any problems and I was hungry
 
I can eat 250g raw weight (200g carbs) easily, mixed with turkey mince and veg. But I'd rather split my carb sources up for enjoyment. E..g half rice half oats or half oats quarter rice quarter rice cakes. Depends on my macros
 
For me my typical meal is
125g raw of jasmine rice (340g cooked)
200g raw of turkey breast
Some fruit (pineapple, apple, orange)
5g of olive oil
100g of veggies

Post workout it's 200g raw of rice flakes or CoR with protein and some rice cakes

After meal I still hungry :)

Are you talking cooked or raw weight?
 
I am laughing I even made this thread wondering about my "huge" 300g meals lol. You guys are animals. Dom and Luki and TheOtherOne... taking in literally pounds of food per meal.

@IFBBProDomCardone you put it in perspective with that picture... what it takes behind the scenes to reach that size.
 
I have combined meals from time to time with 150g dry rice each and 300g chicken. So that’s 600g chicken and - according to GPT - 700-900g rice cooked weight.
but that doesn’t answer the question because it’s not how much I can eat. I could probably double that if I wanted to, I’d just feel terrible for a short time afterwards xD
