I buy there frozen potatoes that are fat free and sugar. They do have dextrose in them. Is it really a big deal? I prefer those because there easy to cook and don't have to add any oils to cook them so there isn't any fat

Dude you clearly are missing the point of refeeds.

You don't have to cut all your fats out bro.

Just increase carbs by 50-100% as an average rule of thumb and maybe drop your fats and protein a bit, maybe.

Just make sure you go up to maintenance or maybe 5-10% above it.

I would refeed whenever you become depleted, I personally end up refeeding every four days on average.

What's the point of having poor workout performance when already low cal?

If I'm depleted I'm refeeding, it's not like I deplete over night or anything.

But honestly worrying about dextrose is retarded.

If you want some fuckin cereal, eat some fucking cereal dude.

I eat cereal postworkout just about every time.
I put sugar free chocolate syrup on my preworkout cream of rice.

Like you don't have to eat THAT clean dude you'll drive yourself insane.

Yeah if you're like one week out, but the amount of water being retained in negligible. If you can't get lean cause of a little bit of dextrose on your potatos, you got bigger problems to worry about.

A little bit doesn't matter. In fact i have more.

The purpose is to replenish, reset and to keep your sanity.

Actually a little dextrose might be beneficial. The whole idea of of refeed is to yes restore muscle glycogen but also bump up key hormones like leptin that control fat loss. Leptin release is dependent on circulating insulin. So dextrose is not bad.

And its a refeed. Have a little fun. Just don't go overboard.

have fun with your refeeds
Low fat ice cream
Cereal
rice
Any kind of bread, I like Hawaiian
Poptarts
potatos

Ect.. I usually lower my fats to less than 50 and bump carbs 100%

It will not happen in a single day of refeed.

Refeed can work as a psychological aid or to improve the appearance for a competition. Metabolism enhancement is bullshit.

Once upon a time BB'ers didn't do refeeds and cheat days they actually stuck to their diets and got leaner then the competitors do now for some reason.

This is matter of opinion and not fact. Old school thought is not always better. Ex. Slamming down raw eggs. Cheating is for the unmotivated, sure. Refeeds serve a true physiological purpose and don't create less conditioned bbers.

Perhaps, but most occasions are used as weakness versus a diet for months. Too lazy wanting to make the way easier.

Yea I got to remember that a lot of people just don't have any self control. I'm the type that has to force myself to do refeeds when my body's calling for it bc I still have that mentality it's taking a step back.

From what I have read, drop all added fats, decrease protein, up your calories 30 percent and use the left over calories for carbs. Probably a trial and error to see how your body responds
