What I know of charcoal is that it is an adsorbent (yes I spelled that correctly) meaning that things cling to it essentially. Is it only non desirables that are clinging to the charcoal such as toxins or are the good nutrients also attaching? I couldn't say for certain but I am caution with activated charcoal and limit how long I take it.Thank you so much for your help! been reading about digestive enzymes and what they do when taken on an empty stomach so giving that a try. I noticed the Activated charcoal has me shitting my brains out And pissing out my ass. With myself I have to be careful with fiber supplements as it can exacerbated my gas issues. Thus I focus on increasing fiber via dietary means. Eating Broccoli, esp on an empty stomach, switching to brown rice for a period etc.
The last time I implemented a fiber supplement I did so with small portions and worked up slowly. This was Psyllium Husk powder I was taking.
Do you use cialis everyday? A common side effect to cialis is indigestion. I get indigestion from time to time, caffeine, alcohol, shitty food. I usually just chew a pepcid complete and I'm good. If I take cialis, and it only takes 5mg, I will get almost uncontrollable indigestion. Pepcid complete supposed to work for 12 hours, with cialis, maybe 6 hours. I have to use a ppi with cialis.I have been taking a proton pump inhibitor this whole time and this most likely is the problem as the PPI does not allow me to have the proper stomach acid to breakdown the food I eat.
Going to try Betaine HCl (Hydrochloride) with Pepsin Digestive Aid.

So when this started almost 2 years ago my GI put me on a proton pump inhibitor which is what fucked up my stomach. Not right away but slowly and steadily fucked up the Ph of my stomach. I did some research on them and wish I did a long time ago but I trusted the GI. I found out Pepcid AC is no better and the reason for the acid reflex and distended stomach and pain after eating was from not having enough stomach acid to do the job correctly.I stopped taking PPI medication years ago when I learned that they hinder protein digestion.
do people who eat plenty of greek yogurt (20oz) and sauerkraut (3 cups) need probiotics ? Pineapple, acv too. also, is it True if you heat up the sauerkraut it ruins the good stuff in it/
Like b-boy I am a huge proponent of Probiotics and I am glad that you will be adding them to your regiment. I encourage you to rely solely on supplement forms of probiotics (tablet etc) and focus on ingesting foods that are high in probiotics primarily Sauerkraut and kimchi. Kombucha is another option as well as kefir milk if you are fine with dairy (which I am not personally)
Like Muay Thai I too have gerd. In fact the VA rated 60 percent disability for my gastrol issues that became well documented during military service. I can eat super clean and eventually something will go awry. I keep Gasex by Himilaya on hand and actually works when I get debilitating gas. I purchase Gasex on ebay and it ships quickly from India. Simethicone never did much for me.
TRIKATU is an Ayuvedic remedy for bloating which I highly recommend looking into.

I thought I had SIBO for sure and took 3 different antibiotics including the antibiotic rifaximin. Didn’t do shit and boy was I pissed just wanted it to work so bad!!!Just a word on probiotics and pre-biotics...
I developed SIBO in part due to a food poisoning incident. PPI overuse can cause this too.
This has caused issues with distention and bloating that became VERY uncomfortable and aesthetically displeasing.
If you DO have SIBO, probiotics can make the situation worse.
How long do probiotics take to work?
So far today I have found this process to work - I open up a capsule of Enzymedica Digest Gold with ATPro and sprinkled on my food then when finished I will take a Berberine cap.
My flanks are still distended but overall my stomach feels better no pain just distended.

I eat clean but I have to do so in a way that cooperates with my metabolism. I have a fast metabolism so if I'm eating tons of brown rice and raw vegetables for example it is difficult to put on the muscle. Fiber will slow the digestion of carbs so this is why I purposely don't eat a diet that is high in fiber. I actually prefer brown rice and I like steel cut oats but if I'm bulking the stuff just gets in the way.What is your overall diet like, do you use an app like mfp to track fiber? I eat a clean diet and my issue is not eating too much fiber, not under consuming it. I easily get 40g per day but I'f I'm not careful I can get 80 or 90g and feel distended bloated. I cant see where a bodybuilder eating clean and eating carbs would be low on fiber unless on very low calories.
