Wanna know a real yummy snack that would be good post workout? A cup or so of cold leftover rice, 1/2 cup milk, 2 tbl honey, and a little cinnamon. It’s like arroz con leche
 
what if you consume a bottle of kefir per day?4 servings and plenty of acetic acid? also betaine hcl. would that help negate the microbiome issue?honestly gatorade makes me sick during workout, I am considering switching to a better source for this reason probably a direct correlation to bad bacteria being fed and proliferating. next thing you know your yeast/candida is out of control and you have dermatitis of some form + body odor lol. eventually gout (hyperbolating)
Than you should be OK.
 
I like oj, but dante always recommended grape juice back in the day. I think it might have to do with the ratio of fructose to glucose
the big glass bottle of grape juice was great cus dump the protien right in!

Fructose is mainly stored in the liver correct?

I would think it would be fine intra training. Especially if you're maybe using 30 to 50 g rams, like if one takes insulin and wants to keep out of going hyper glycemic. I would think something like 20 g is fine for somebody that doesn't use insulin pre-workout. Now if you're using like high doses of insulin and you want to get 100 g from honey I wouldn't use this because 40 of them carbs will be going mostly to the liver. And it sure makes life a lot sweeter. Yeah I'm a dork at times.
