Sissy Squat Station

My new gym does not have the station. Actually most don't have one. Its the only exercise I can do that builds my outside leg sweep and I can feel working. Does anyone have one or use one.

I was thinking about getting this one. Cheapest I found that looks like its made good.

Ooooooh that's what that is!?!? My gym has one and each time I see it I think,
"Wow, what a great tool to use in order to teach people how to squat".

There are other ways to do it. I recall on one of Lee Priest's videos that he used a tricep rope looped around something.

You can hold weights if you do them that way. There are others way like doing them in smith machine etc. I like them on the sissy squat station. Don't have to worry about balance and all that.

Our gym took out the sissy squat machine also loved that thing. I liked how it brought out the quads..

hahaha, ok, a bit dramatic... there was a gym I would go to to whenever I visited my parent's that has since closed down... they are the ONLY gym I've seen one... LOVED IT! Kinda sad now

I believe that is called a Roman Chair Squat, something Vince Gironda used when training people.

I will try it when I get around to it and I will let you know what I think. Not now since back been bothering me I have only been doing certain movements.

I can tell you regular hacks kill my knees so I can't do them regular hacks. I had two knee surgeries so I have to find things that don't bother them.

looks like a good price and its a great piece, i like to use it to superset with leg presses or extensions
