okay, guys, i'm taking your advice to heart. close to it anyway.
i distilled a couple of pointers from what you told me:
- first of all, from now on, chest will be trained on a day of its own. i used to combine with triceps and shoulders, but i need to keep the blood in my pecs going home with a pump, right ? that means no cardio after chest (blood into the legs), nor before chest (diminished strength and stamina, clycogen, etc.);
- second, no more barbells for chest: dumbbells should give me the opportunity to use a wider range of motion when benching;
- third, i'll try the pre-exhaust technique: i'll start off with pec deck (tried it this afternoon, used the entire stack but anyhow), then heavy flies, not stretching too far, concentrating on the pecs, everything done on a slight incline bench (more inclined and my shoulder hurts, i don't believe in flat bench exercises for chest), after flies, it's bench press with dumbbells, after that it's parallel bar dips with elbows out, finally, to engorge the pecs with blood, cable cross overs, strict form, but heavy as hell.
i'll include site injections in my next cycle, all the stuff i'm on now is esterified, i'll try with ester free gear.
how does this sound ???
