Ok, I was wondering what some of you guys or girls say when family members ask "Do you take steroids"?? Its kind of a no brainer if I do or not . I just hate it when they ask. I usually tell them that I can not discuss thoes matters, and its kind of personal to ask someone that question. I am looking for some feed back on this. I have avoided the question for around 3 years but every holiday they ask over and over again. What do you guys or girls say when asked the big question?

Tell them thats what you need to do ,to get where you are going.My mom understood when I explained it to her...her only request was that I would see a doctor and have him monitor me.So there where no questions,and I had proof everything was good!JUST DO IT

Yep, It's always nice to be able to tell people, so you don't have to feel like you are hiding something, especially with loved ones. This has come up in many threads on this board, and it is kind of a catch-22. Damned if you do...Damned if you don't. The worst for me has been girlfriend situations. It's very hard, because if you lie and they find out, you're screwed...But, if you tell them the truth up front, you can be screwed also. Pick your poison. lol.. it's hard.

My imidiate family pretty much knows, they seen things around. But my entire family doesn't know, most have an idea. But all I generally hear over holidays and what not is how good I look and how it's great to see someone in good shape. My cousins are all into it, too. But we only discuss it from time to time. What I get crap for is weigh all my food, they find it funny while some find it rediculous. I laugh it all off. If you want tell them, if not don't. Say no or don't worry about it or it's a secret. Blow it off

A few people should know in case something happens.Like the time my training partner is at prejuding fucking shreadded (won overall LH)...his wife starts yelling about how good he's doing against these steriod freaks.Of course I can't find a place small enough to hide...O don't worry someone corected her really quick....that was a LLLLLOOOONNNNGGGG ride home!!!!

them: why would you ask me that?

The less people that know your business, the less people that can be jeolous and RAT you out if they get mad at you...YES, even family. there is always someone in the familythat wants more attention than the others.

Keep it to yourself...tell them to get in the gym and bust their ass day to day and see how they turn out...and that would answer their question.

It is nice because i have been at this since i was 12, so no one questions me after I tell them it has been 18 years of work.

I don't tell anyone except my wife. Why bother? I live with my wife, so I would have a hard time hiding it from her. As for everyone else, they don't need to know. The more people that know, the more problems you open yourself up to.

I agree don't tell anyone anything.

I do feel bad for my nephews though. They are all quite a bit younger than me and they like to workout. They are short to begin with and very small. They ask me about working out and what to eat. I help them I just hope they don't get discouraged when they don't make the gains I was able to make with super supplements.

They have never asked and I wont ever tell them.
