I also find thats the hardest part at first to get used to...mine seems to adjust itself to your breathing pattern so that you dont blow against it accept for when you first turn it on
Mine decreases pressure when it senses me breathing out. I may need a Bi-pap because my apnea is really bad and the cpap don't go as high pressure as bi-pap.
Here's a pic of the one I picked up on craigslist. It self-regulates the pressure which is great...I am looking to check out some different masks though just to see what the most comfortable one is
I use these two masks. They won't work if you're a mouth breather. If you are you need one with a chin strap to keep your mouth closed. I'm too claustrophobic for the full face ones.
Elevate your headboard six inches, so that you're feet are lower than head and torso. I used some dollar store shims and they're working fine. Either that, or deal with your woman punching you in the back all night.
