So. Cause I'm natural now. Or currently lol. I just have a mild case. On this day and time anyway.... So I'm going to do a month trial with machine and if I don't feel a significant difference. Then no sense burden with machine

I slept 6.5 hours
Woke up 7 times
Fragmented sleep. Two times per hour
1% deep sleep. Normal is 13
Dream sleep 29 nomal 25
Only had 7episodes of obstructed breathing per hour
Avg rate of interruption 26 secs. Normal is 20
Longest time stopped was 55secs
If on back 12 episodes hour. On my side 1
Oxygen good. Avg 95 lowest 89
Avg HR OF 55beats min low 41 high 89
Snored 444 times. 69/hr avg make 300-400/hr

Its good you are giving the machine a good trail. Even mild apnea can cause stress on the heart.

I'm surprised your insurance even covered a CPAP with an RDI of 7....Medicare doesn't pay for anything below 15 and most insurers tend to follow Medicare guidelines. Will be helpful when you get heavier as those numbers will worsen as you already mentioned and you'll be prepared for it.
