slin after fasted workouts, need more carbs than normal?

Today I did my fasted am workout, 20 mins low-med intensity cardio, followed by Phils training protocol, about 22 sets total for back and chest, immediately following the workout, I took 10 iu humalog, 4 iu rips, 50g carbs from gatorade mixed with 2 scoops humapro. No hypo feeling what so ever. Bout 45 mins later, start going hypo, ate 36g sugar(3x gushers) after finishing shopping, went to the truck, ate my 1 cup rice and 2 chicken breasts. This adds up to a total of 120 grams of carbs within the first hour of the insulin window. Is it normal to need this many? I read some guys using only 5-7g per iu. Is the problem that I used insulin in a fasted state? Use less slin? Open too all comments and input.

Whats the average amount of carbs/iu of sline taken that most people go by? Does needing more carbs than norma mean that I am more insulin sensitive? I have done a lot of blood glucose monitoring as far as waking and what foods do to me, so I have a pretty good idea of what to eat, I just am pretty inexperienced with synthetic slin use.
 
Get some Humalog. Workout, then right after take 10iu Humalog with a protein shake and 50g sugar drink. One hr later eat 2 chicken breasteses, and a cup of rice. Wholla. Take your gh with the slin. Keep it simple my brutha.

This was the protocol I was trying to follow, however, I started going hypo before eating the 1 hour after meal, started hypo @ about 40-45 mins after slin use.

I think your experience makes posting the question moot. If you are trying to find a protocol from somebody and that protocol does not work for you, then I would not try to find ANOTHER protocol from another person.

This is one of those things where experimenting with dose is probably a smart idea. Not the timing necessarily but YOUR OWN dose/carb ratio.

Also, you could always just lower your insulin dose...

It is probably smarter to use less insulin than to eat more food.
 
Here's what I've been doing. I wake up, shoot hgh, wait 30 minutes. shoot humalog and then have a shake immediately after. then I train 30 minutes later while sipping my intra workout shake. 2 hours post humalog injection, another shake. It's Mike Arnold's protocol but modified since it's first thing in the morning. Mike wrote his protocol assuming the person trained in the evening
