SLIN QUESTION AT NIGHT

so i train at night and would have to pin slin at around 10:30pm and be asleep 3 hours later at 1:30am. obviously that doesnt seem like a smart idea even with log. is there any way I can get similar results without pinning PWO? maybe with am meal? any input would be great, thanks.

If you are using it for solely for nutrient transportation then you'd be better off pinning it in the morning after you eat your first or second meal because of the timing issue and that slin could drop your blood glucose levels dangerously low while your sleeping. However, if you wanted to use it in conjunction with gh, the best time would be pwo because hgh+slin creates igf-1.

being an ex diabetic, i would advise starting with low doses if doing them that late at night and build up as your body gets used to it, also have 10g carbs for every iu insulin and keep a bottle of lucozade by your bed for emergencies.

what is lucozade? sorry im not familiar with it. and why by the bed? wouldnt you just NOT wake up if you got to low? lol

No. There is a possibility that you can go into a coma while sleeping if your blood sugar drops too low on slin. A good deal of the time however, you do tend to wake up when your blood glucose is at a dangerously low level. It's not worth the risk. Log can take up to 5 hours to clear your system although most of the time it's gone within 3.
 
If you do decide to try it at night PWO I would suggest doing humalog IM in the muscle group workded as it should clear faster than sub-q. I have pinned about 15-20 minutes from the end of my workout. You would obviously want to carry around some carbs you could start sipping on some from that point, but it would IMO provide you the benefits of PWO. As I recall it does not become fully active for ~30 minutes. Although, it does start doing its magic at the 15 minute mark. First and foremost be safe. Who cares how big you are if you are dead.
