Recently, I have been pressing with higher doses (10-15 units) of r-slin (and peptides/gh) with my workouts. Using some carbs and a glucometer to keep sugar levels between 85 and 100. My numbers seem consistent and stable for several hours thereafter.

I'm getting some positive and unexpected effects from the slin:
(1). Much less fluid retention and hand numbness from gh/peps
(2). My estro issues seem much better ... able to lower arimidex

I didn't notice this on 5 units, but higher doses had a big impact on fluid retention, estro sensitivity, etc. I am 95% sure I'm not imagining this.

Anyone else ever notice these kinds of effects?

Disclaimer: using slin can be risky, individual responses vary, and getting it wrong can be a serious matter.
 
It's all probably just a side effect of increased insulin resistance.
 
Maybe you're right. Long before I ever tried slin, I was diagnosed with moderate "insulin resistance" after a glucose challenge test. Always ran a fasting glucose of 105ish.

I wasn't obese or a big carb eater; so, the Dr. pointed to genetics. I've tried to do what I can to improve things: lipoic acid, training fasted in the a.m., but little has changed. More recently, I've judiciously tried slin with gh. Clearly feel better when I compensate for the IR.

The best thing is to get my insulin sensitivity up, and pumping slin in frequently won't help obviously. Any ideas?

- metformin before big meal
- glucose disposal supplements
- low carbs
- more aerobic exercise
- get leaner
- limit slin, gh
 
What does your diet look like? For me, always eating low GI carbs, always eating carbs with protein, and always making sure I have fat along with those carbs makes a huge difference. Cardio helps a lot also. If I do all these things, I can eat a fairly high amount of total carbs and still reduce insulin resistance. Reducing bodyfat to a minimum also helps.
