You can but diet has to be spot on. Hgh helps keep you lean while on slin to a degree IMO. Without hgh, it's going to be harder to maintain leanness unless you are disciplined enough to eat carbs, protein with very little fat while the slin is still active in your body.
I've been running it every other workout day for a few weeks and watching what I eat during the active time and it isn't that bad. I use Humalog because the active time is much shorter and I'm sure with humilin it would be a real pain in the ass to keep the pounds off.
I still think its worth it. Don't get stupid with dosage 3IU max, emeric had a good post with a study. If you can find it its worth reading. And take JMs advice low fat while slin is active
It can be beneficial, but it depends on how you have to eat to compensate. I got big, strong, and fat on it. I'd have to walk a very small tightrope with food to get the benefit without getting fat or suffering hypo sides.
