I see oats being mentioned a couple times and guys having issues with digesting them. If you have not tried this I suggest:
Soak them for a couple hours and even better overnight. Use just enough water to get them wet they don't have to be swimming. This makes a NIGHT AND DAY difference for me. I have forgotten once in a while and it is BLOAT CITY with the non-soaked oats. I do the same with lentils/beans and it helps but they are still tough to digest in any decent quantity.
1. Pick foods the suit your goals.
2. Of the foods that suit your goals pick the ones you digest well.
3. Of the foods that satisfy 1 and 2 pick the ones you like and make them taste as close to your preferences as you can without screwing up 1 and 2.
4. Eat the correct amounts.

Patiently wait for someone to break the code of silence and tell you the "secret."
