Slow carb diet

I see oats being mentioned a couple times and guys having issues with digesting them. If you have not tried this I suggest:

Soak them for a couple hours and even better overnight. Use just enough water to get them wet they don't have to be swimming. This makes a NIGHT AND DAY difference for me. I have forgotten once in a while and it is BLOAT CITY with the non-soaked oats. I do the same with lentils/beans and it helps but they are still tough to digest in any decent quantity.

1. Pick foods the suit your goals.
2. Of the foods that suit your goals pick the ones you digest well.
3. Of the foods that satisfy 1 and 2 pick the ones you like and make them taste as close to your preferences as you can without screwing up 1 and 2.
4. Eat the correct amounts.

Patiently wait for someone to break the code of silence and tell you the "secret."

On a high day (3x per wk), somewhere around 6100-6300. Diet is supposed to be regimented but many times my daily schedule gets monkey wrenched. Also if i’m hungry i don’t wait for the next meal, i just eat
I'm the same, I have my rough 4 meals but if I'm still hungry I'll add a glass of almond milk or some veggies and subtract the calories from later meals. Have you ever tried keto or low carb? I've noticed that since I went from high protein high carb low fat....to protein/fat on off days I obsess less over my next meal. Starting to think I just have a huge appetite for carbs and once I limit them and add more fats I feel fuller.

I meant that just becomes the next meal if i eat sooner than scheduled. No subtracting of calories from later meals.

Every 8 wks for 2wks i do keto/low carb w DNP.

On my rest days i eat significantly more fat w carbs around 500
