so confused why blood pressure is elevated (2 weeks on TRT)

Been on TRT for about 2 weeks now and have had some poblems. Ive had about 2 days that i actually felt better but the rest os feeling like garbage. Doc prescribed me 200mg test cyp per week but iver been keeping it arounbd 150mg per week one shot per week. I messed up my hormone levels years ago doing some stupid cycling and gave myself gyno in the process. I had gyno removed this past janruary and am of course paranoid of it coming back. Paranoid to the point that the second day on TRT i took 3.125 mg arimidex and my joints were killing me the next day so i backed off for a few days. I noticed some water retention and had blood pressure go up so i took a dosage of aromasin 3.125 mg and felt good the next day. I started to believe i was getting sore and itchy nips so i took another dosage of 3.125 mg the following day as well and then the next. My problem is i cant tell at this point if my estrogen is actually to high or two low but i have a tiny bit of water retention and my blood pressure is going up again and i feel like garbage.

I think i may have problems with AI's as i tried the letro protocol a couple years ago to try to reverse gyno and my blood pressure got dangerously high.

Im just starting to believe this TRT is more trouble than worth and maybe i should just live with 300 test levels as i cant take this blood pressure feeling in my head anymore. Im not due back at docs till august 9th for bloodwork. He did not prescribe the aromasin as he told me he would but wanted to wait the first month to see where levels were but iu got scared i would develop gyno and ordered liquid aromasin from RS.com which by all reviews is a good accurately dosed product. I went the aromasin route as ive read a great deal about how arimidex destroys lipid profiles and want to be healthy long term.

I just dont understand, can lowering my E2 too low with aromasin cause high blood pressure? Or is my dosage or aromasin so small that the high blood pressure due to very high E2? i did not take 3.125 mg aromasin yesterday as my joints have been killing me and all of a sudden my blood pressure is elevating (currently at 135/73) and i can feel that in my head.

I want to go on record and say Ai's may help prevent gyno but they suck. They may lower estrogen but it seems they cause a world of other problems. I feel like garbage at this point and am thinking it may be time to quit TRT.

Doc will probably prescribe me arimidex but i dont want to take it rest of my life and screw up my lipids all to hell but at same time this high blood pressure will ultimately get worse and kill me in end too. Its like a losing game all the way around. What the heck is going on and what the heck should i do? Can estrogen too low cause elevated blood pressure?

I will say before TRT i ran test booster cycles of Triazole and Erase and i got same feeling of achy joints as im guessing it sent my estrogen too low bu i never got the high blood pressure which confuses the hell out of me as i would have thought as potent as erase is that it would have elevated my blood pressure just like aromasin apparently has.

Im just lost and aggravated at this point. Any advice is appreciated. Thank you

Bro, you really need to get that estrogen in check, because you start to sound like a girl.

I don't know how sensitive you are, but your blood pressure isn't that high and you are already thinking you are going to die.

I am feeling sometimes pressure in my head, but i know it is more because i get stressed at work. It's anxiety. For me it goes away quick.

You sound like you are going to have a panic attack. Calm the fuk down. You are going to be fine.

If you still think it is your blood pressure causing all of that, then take care of that first. You can always quit your HRT. We don't know why you started it in the first place and what were your symptoms before starting.

I started in the first place do to low test levels. Im not trying to come of whining, just trying to ask a question. The blood pressure is high for me and i can always feel it when its elevated. Something is damn sure elevating it and making my head ache like shit obviously it aint in my head.

I ran years of cycles and never had blood pressure problems but anytime i add in an AI this seems to happen so i am curious on thoughts and opinions till its time to see doc.

Before we assume it's Estradiol related and start adding anymore of your AI, have your E2 checked.

Something you can try at home is soak your feet in Epson Salts, low magnesium levels will ultimately raise your blood pressure as well as your resting heart rate, a serum magnesium blood test will give you only a very small % of what is actually stored and circulating, a urine magnesium over a 24-48 hour period is a more accurate measurement.

Increase your cardio also

are you sure that what your feeling is hi blood pressure and not a higher heart rate?

i guess you have a blood pressure tester but if you don't its well worth the money at $15-$35 and will give you some 'peace of mind' by having the ability to monitor your BP and HR thruout the day.

your systolic at 135 is in the 'high nornal' range and your diastolic at 73 is in the 'optimal' range.

if you want to reduce the systolic and have a healthier more stable BP then cut out/reduce your use of caffinated products, salt, fats--also keep sugar intake to a minimum and have regular Blood Work/chkups done.

You never stated what your blood pressure was either. Stress, age will contribute to this and you seemed to be stressing over it. What exactly is your blood profile? Do you know? I think the gyno, you are just parenoid. At that dose and the very next day, you think aromasin is causing joint problems?

I know guys who have taken anti estrogens for years and have no isssues. Blood work can determine a lot. I think you better go to a specialist and not a doctor who prescribes 200mg per week for 300 test levels. Just my opinion.

Google Cortisols relationship with E2 conversion.

Also if your paranoid about E2 conversion then split your weekley dosage down into smaller dosages more often and start injecting Sub Q with slin pins.

Those TRT doses shouldnt effect bp. Stay away from salty food and high fructose corn starch. Blood pressure meds arnt bad btw, so improve sexual function now and protect kidneys.

that much testosterone should not mess with your estrogen much. i would take the testosterone and nothing else. the ai is messing things up.
