I notice when I piss it looks like soap suds.
It's always like this on or off cycle
Even when my bloodwork comes back normal I notice this
Does this mean anything. .
I always thought it meant protein was being spilled into the urine. However, this should only happen if the kidneys are damaged because normally proteins are not filtered by the kidney. If your BUN/Creatinine are fine than it is reassuring.
Foamy urine can also result from high blood glucose levels as the body excretes glucose in the urine in an attempt to normalize BG levels. This happens to diabetics when they don't balance their carb intake with their insulin dosage.
My urine has soap suds all day ,even though I'm well hydrated.
I go through a case of water a day,so my urine is clear ,but has bubbles ontop of it and it doesn't dissipate when I'm done.
I just had blood work done,a full panel because they though I had cancer but thank god i didn't .everything was actually perfectly normal and they tested everything
The weird thing is when I got drug tested yesterday at pain management and had to pee in a cup there were no suds .
I get drug tested often and there's never bubbles in the cup but if I pee in a toilet there's always suds
My urine would be like that in the morning, that's it. I make sure to drink 10 oz of water when I get up in the middle of the night, has helped out. I've also been making sure to get 200oz of water a day, although I pee 4-5x more a day, it's always clear and light and never foamy.
Your kidney failed, did you have blood work before this happened and if you did how did the blood panel come out?
Also did you have a kidney transplant ?

how high was your bun and creatinine when your kidney failed? mine have been slightly elevated for sometime now but I have done research and this is normal among bodybuilders, my creatinine is usually between 1.6 and 1.8 and bun 2 points above range.
