Sodium blood panel

Just pulled my yearly blood panel for my primary Dr. going over a couple elevated numbers. My creatinine 133 was elevated a bit out of range. I stopped taking my daily 5mg a month ago. It’s never been out of range.
Sodium was also high 146. I drink a gallon of water a day with my planned out 6 meals. I searched on here for high sodium blood panel but only see low sodium threads.
Any suggestions to get it back in range.
Last 10 panels stay 139-142.

Also my LDL has always stayed 140-145 and HDL at 40. Triglycerides stay below 100. This pull my LDL was 156.
I was on a low dose of Mast with my trt cyp since January. Lowered it just to trt 30 days before panel.

What's your BUN and glucose levels?

88 Glucose
16 Bun

Both in range

At the time of your labs, you were a bit dehydrated. Your calculated osmolality —Na (sodium), BUN and glucose=302.6 mOsm/kg. The normal range is: 285-295 mOsm/kg. Above 295 mOsm/kg is indicative of dehydration.

Water alone doesn't = proper hydration.

This explains your mild hypernatremia. Not a big deal.

Thanks for the feedback Stevie. I’m sure my Dr will try and push a statin for my LDL or a retest in 3 months.
