I'm getting back into dieting and will be starting another cycle soon after some time off. I'm concerned about sodium intake, especially while on cycle. While I am no expert, I am currently working on my BS in Dietetics so I have a good background knowledge on nutrition and metabolism, etc. I'm really looking for professional advice on the matter. The RDA (actually UL) is 2300mg. That is literally 1 tsp of salt! I have been prone to bloat, mild hypertension, and erythrocytosis during cycles. But in all fairness I ate like shit. Now I intend to eat natural and vary my protein sources. No extra salt, lots of fresh veggies and fruit, no crap, no alcohol.
What advice can you guys give on sodium level intake or any further micronutrient goals? I know potassium levels can be an issue while on cycle. Thanks for any advice in advance.
