Ok so if you know she can do well on keto then you need to do few things - clean up the kitchen from all the sweets and garbage. Make a trip and buy one month supply of things like sardines , salmon , peanut butter nuts cheedar etc. Week ahead things like eggs avocado veggies. Every night make sure that she has all meals packed for the next day. Get some green tea capsules and put it into her purse so she can take it 3x day. Failing in preparation is preparation to failure.She did keto a number of years ago and it worked well for her. Since then she has fallen off the wagon and can very easily do so again after a few days. She knows she needs a lifestyle change but a bad day at work or lack of prepped food and she’s eating rubbish or grabbing a glass of wine.
If she has to count calories and weigh stuff then I think she will quickly fold. This is why my thinking is if she can see a piece of steak palm sized or two chicken thighs etc she will stick with this easier.

2 eggs
1 rasher of bacon
Slice of avocado
Meal 2
Snack based
Two tablespoons of cottage cheese
Some sardines
Small salad
Meal 3
6oz steak or chicken thighs or salmon
Greens
Yoghurt with some Berries
