When I first found this board (about a year before I joined)
I read Dad's posts about aas where he said unless you are
a competitive bb then you should not take aas.
I didn't like that answer and kept researching and realized
he is right and have him to thank for not jumping in blindly
to aas use. I may use aas in the future as my natural test
production decreases but I think this site does a good job of
Being honest about the positives and negatives.I've been accused
of aas by people and take it as a big complement.

As for the small dick myth if you are 150 with an average size
it looks big - if you're 250 with the same thing it's going to look smaller
by comparison.

No. I think they got you confused with me! I just had my 20th last summer right after my heart attack.

There is nothing wrong with expressing your concerns of the health implication of aas use. The problem is, it had no place being in this thread. The members you named, place their concerns in relative threads. See what I'm getting at? I dont think you meant any harm but can you see how the post was well...annoying, for lack of a better word.

You are right. What he had to say has merit but doesnt belong on this thread in particular. No real harm done though.

Somewhat funny: You can tell the guys juicing: they're always doing the light, high-rep work but they're huge. You get on the juice, you don't have to lift heavy.

On a sadder note: every person who takes steroids will experience 'roid rage. I know, I've seen it, over and over - or I should say I've seen the results of it, in women who are beaten to shit.

The second was told to me by a former close (or so I thought) friend who is a forensic nurse, and highly regarded in her profession - she teaches, is on the lecture circuit, etc. I made the mistake of trying to counter her knowledge, and told her that I had used in the past, and never, ever experienced any rage. She stopped speaking to me.

I have NEVER had any kind of rage, no matter what I am on, how much, or how long.

Like so many other things in life (and other AAS sides as well) it depends on the person. We are complicated machines.

There really isnt anything that can be said to convince some people of the risks. Its like when youre a kid and your parents tell you not to do something. You go ahead and do it anyway until you get hurt. Then you dont do it anymore. That kid was me.

Well, you guys plant some major seeds with your stories. Trust me, your words won't be forgotten by anyone who's read your story. I am not anti steroids by any means. Quite the opposite acutally. I just want everyone to be safe and do things safely. As for funny things I've heard people say about steroids...

And the guy who told me that was a steroid user himself and a national level contestant.

stories like yours and others and just the general warnings from people like dad and even bilbo most definately have an effect on what i put into my body. it hasnt stopped me from using altogether, but has made me well aware of the risks, which has caused me to take a far more moderate approach to aas than i would have without the warnings. so, thanks. i do think it is dose related, but thats not to say you eliminate any chance of health risks just using lower doses.

best one I ever heard was some guys brother took steroids and it made him go blind LOL. I didnt even know how to respond to that level of stupidity. Of course I was on at the time..
