Ok here's the issue. I don't think it's training related.

Outer part of my foot is numb 24/7
Calf muscle is to shit. I can't do 1 calf raise on it (bodyweight)
Hamstring is tight and hurts when in activity
My job requires a lot of walking so a couple hrs into it my knee starts hurting and I start limping a bit on my leg

This is all in my right leg.

:confused::mad:

Its usually a bad sign when you have lost dramatic strength like that. I would for sure skip legs for some time. I have heard people say they have lost dramatic strength like that then the next day they tear or rupture something. Not trying to scare you. Maybe someone else can chime in.

Sounds like an irritated nerve. Go to the doc. If you loose strength and really cannot push with your foot then that is serious. The longer you wait the worse it can get and less likely to to return to normal.

Your symptoms could indicate lumbar spondylosis. Laminectomy would be solution. A neurology consult may be in order. Your PCP can refer you to one in your area. Only a radiologic exam can see exactly what's going on with your lumbar spine. Until then all other reasoning is speculation.

Lumbar laminectomy is a quick and easy procedure. Minimal incision and recovery time is quick. We do several here every day.

LEG

The exact same thing happens to my bicep up to my shoulder but only hurts when I lift heavy. I believe my injury is from a pinched nerve because one day it does not hurt at all and another day I cannot lift anything with that arm.

As Chinaboy said, it is most likely nerve related. I have the same issue just not as bad.
I've been seeing chiro and ART masseuse for a few months and its definitely getting better. I did also stop training upped body for a week and when I started training again I would do a light pump workout.

Thanks for the responses. It's a annoyance. I have been training legs, maybe I shouldn't. I haven't been able to train calves at all.

numb foot is def. nerve issues. Try using the foam roller on your hamstring and stretching gentle. Could be sciatic nerve being pinched. That will mess you up anywhere from glutes to foot or all the way.

You better go see a Doctor. I had those same symptoms when I got a blood clot in my leg. Steroids can cause those too.

If you are truely loosing strength and not bullshitting then I would take it seriously or you may not be able to get it back. That means wearing a brace for the rest of your life and walking with that problem which leads to other problems; early degeneration of knee and hip. Get your low back checked out with an MRI by a physiatrist or pcp. I wish you the best and keep us informed.

Update. Went to chiro today and it's a l5/s1. Most likey cause is heavy squats. I have to do decompression and a couple other things. If it doesn't improve I'll have to do MRI to see how extensive the damage is.

No weights period for the next couple of weeks. Activity is to be limited too. I hope I recover properly and quickly. I will be updating.

When and if I do recover I'm not sure how I'll approach squats and deads. Yet to see...

I've been in diet mode last few weeks, today I let go and ate nothing but cookies and shoofly pie. Depressing news. Hope tomorrow is a better day :(

Could be pone of a few things:

-Blood Clot like several had said.
-or have you injected in that leg recently?
Could be the SI nerve and a pocket of oil pushing on the nerve. It would not be abnormal to have a numb foot even though the injection was in your ass or quad.

Go see a Doc. We dont get second chances with out health

As of yesterday the pain is almost unbearable. Going to work is like going to hell. Ibuprofen is to the max but isn't strong enough. Will see the chiro later today and ask for strong painkillers

You need to be seeing a dr, not a chiro at this point. You have to have your spine looked at and a determination made if it's surgical or not. I'm speaking from experience here, I was hit by a car a couple years ago and had similar symptoms. I knew what was wrong but insurance refused surgery, a year later they finally agreed that surgery was the only option. Now I have permanent nerve damage and constant pain because the nerve was pinched for so long.

Your symptoms are consistent with a back injury causing nerve impingement. If a doctor determines that your back is fine, then go see what the chiro can do for you. But the longer you put off seeing a real specialist the greater chance you're going to live the rest of your life feeling like you do now.

i have many of these symptoms myself. as i have herniated discs, collapsed discs etc. i know it is nerve related as the signal is not making it down the nerve to where it should go.
