Spasms while injecting

Some times when I'm injecting in my Quad it spasms either while pushing needle in or puting the 2ml in. Any way of stopping this as it always makes me jump when it happens

I think you are close to a nerve- it has happened to me many times. If you're very close, leg will "jump around"- I would generally pull out, change needles and find another place as that could be painful later.

happens in my delts and quads a couple of times. it sucks one time it acutally hurt the next day when i hit my quad

Yea it definitely sounds like a nerve.. Sometimes you'll be in a spot and you'll get an uncomfortable possibly painful sensation like this, and it's best to just pull out and start over.. Plus with the quads, you're more liable to hit a nerve or blood vessel compared to the glutes..

it is more like a twitch and I have no trouble with pain from site, but it just stops me rexaling when injecting as I'm waiting for it to happen
