Check this out bro, last year I had some blood work, my test levels work good and my fsh were normal. This year after the sperm test my fsh levels were very low, thats what you need to make sperm. Last year I was clean for six months before I had the test, this year I was clean only for a month and a half. Heavy Androgens lower your fsh, therefore lowering or even halting your sperm production, ya feel me dawg?

My point exactly. A test immediately following a cycle is not going to give you a accurate reading of what's going on with your body. Take some time clean, let your body return to somewhat of a homeostasis, then get tested again. I'd wait at least 6 months.

Ok so my odds of a higher sperm count are better after I get off AAS and do a PCT, even though I may not recover and have low test, my odds are still better than if I stayed on an HRT dose with hcg?

i agree that it does impair your ability to produce sperm while on it. i dont agree that it impaires it for good. the guys i am speaking of all got preg between cycles but they all did the neccassary things to bring their system back to norm. i was a week into a cycle so as far as i go you're right it was a freak thing. as far as my comment to vulgar, the scapegoat comment was a jab but a jab that would not have been thrown if he would have witheld the "think before you type" comment. that itself was a jab and i threw one back. my my main point when i responded the first time was merely maybe this guy should stay clean for a while and then have his sperm checked. it is possible that he had week sperm from the get go

Ok here is my ?. Some guys still produce lots of sperm while on AAS and some zero. I would much rather prefer to stay on HRT with HCG than to attempt to recover. So, im comming off my cycle now and planed on staying on 150mg cypionate with hcg at 500iu 2x per week while off cycle. I figure I mine as well give it a shot and get a sperm count done while on hrt, b/c I might still produce a descent amount. Then if not, i'll maybe attemp to recover and get tested in 6months. So, think its a good idea to give it shot and get my sperm tested while on hrt? If so, how long should I be on it after my cycle is over before I get tested? Im thinkng everything should be out of me in a month.

Ok bros, Ive got some breakin news on my behalf. Ive just got back from the specialist right now and on the tests I have come up with extremly high level of Prolactin 27.43 and low level of fsh 0.16 and Lh 0.1.

Now they are convinced that the problem thats causing this is my pituitary gland, aka hypophysis. Im going for a scan next week just to confirm it. The problem can be fixed by hormone treatment or possibly brain surgery, the latter sounds a bit scary,lol!

I don't know how long you should wait to go get tested, I'd say at least 1 month. I'm really curious to see how this goes, so if you wouldn't mind, post your count results while on hrt. Also, hcg without an ancillary (pref clomid) can induce primary hypogonadism. It also will inhibit recovery if stayed on too long. It's similiar to a boost of FSH, which works until it creates a negative feedback loop on itself.

I've been on 10mg nolva with hcg. I always thought you were supposed to stay on low doses of hcg during long cycles, no matter how long they are.

Although hCG will give you a quick boost, that's all it is. It's just one quick rev of the hpta motor and then it suppresses it again. Big A advocates taking it once every 4 weeks during the cycle at like 4000-6000iu split throughout the week. Then ceasing it two weeks after the end of the cycle.

If you continue to take it while completely clean, it's only going to further inhibit recovery via hpta suppression. However, you are still going to be on a hrt dose. My thinking here is that you're not going to produce natural test without hCG so you may as well keep taking it as long as you're taking that nolva. I do think that clomid would be a better choice because in addition to it's etro binding properties, it has pc recovery properties.

What if I don't revover though. I'd hate to come off and have low test levels and lose all the gains i've made over the years. Is there a way to keep my gains if my test levels are low? Maybe GH 3iu's EOD will help?

You might consider staying on hrt and hcg and just adding fsh to the mix. A lot of studies show this will bring sperm count back up.
