So this is what my orthopedic consultant said when he ordered a MRI and a ultrasound ( I got a lump/very visible bulge on my left erector spinae).
He said "35 plus is the age when things start to pop and go out of their place. Lets see how the spine of a 37 year old muscle man looks like."
Muscle man ?? I felt like Eugene Sandow lol Lifting some odd shaped heavy things and flexing in between while a bunch of women are touching me up everywhere [emoji23][emoji23]
Just had MRI and ultrasound done this morning 9am results hopefully next week. will see consultant on tue evening.
My usual right SIJ has started bothering me out of nowhere last week as well. It was just fine for months since july. Had 1 chiro and physio session for it. Didn't help. SIJ was being stubborn. chiropractor had 2 attempt to manipulate it with HVLA trust. didnt respond which explains why it didn't settle down. Usually it does. Seeing chiro again tomorrow. it affects the SIJ/hip and my gait gets affected. cant walk, sit or lie down properly right now. knee and ankle down the kinetic chain compensates feeling odd otherwise my knees and ankles are healthy.
had a triceps strain in june which bothered me for few months. Finally with a 4 weeks of total ban on pressing and accupuncture, ultrasound, deep tissue work it healed totally. I have down 2 pressing sessions on it successfully and next day triceps is all good no pain so thats a good sign. not pushing heavy yet. did the second chest session yesterday and left elbow is as normal as it can be
Also my right shoulder (labrum issue) had been feeling sore lately. deep dull ache is back out of nowhere. Did nothing to aggrevate it. I dont do overhead press anyway for over 2 years now.
oh and I stepped into the MRI scanner wearing Hulk t shirt . pic taken in changing room [emoji3]
Stay strong. Never to surrender. Never to retreat. Keep those spirits high.
