Splitting tirzepatide lyophilized vial into smaller doses

Anyone tried separating bulk Tirz peptide powder to mix your own vials? Say into 10mg vials. Bought 30mg vial but only use 2.5mg/week, but need to reduce powder before reconstituting first and unsure of the best way to do that and not damage the powder peptide. Sterile tubes w/caps-to freeze the other two 10mg doses for later usage, , I have sterile nitrile gloves , alcohol swabs, a mouth mask , glass Petri dish, stainless steel lab grade spatula, variety of static free micro lab funnels, stainless steel micro lab scooper, dental spatula (for easy splitting larger doses on petrified dish), 3Ml vacuumed sealed vials. Sterile 6ml syringe w/sterile 18g needle. Think I’ll be ok? Or am I missing anything else? The higher doses vials are so much cheaper so I figured I’d save a lot of money this way.

A lot do the powder is filler, you’ll just get uneven distributions trying to separate it.

And reconned tirzepatide lasts 6 months atleast in the fridge once reconstituted. Just use it as long as it seems to be holding its effectiveness

Was from some patent application. I’d have to dig deep to pull it again, don’t really feel like it but the table is reliable and from their patent application on tirzepatide

If you’re storing it in the fridge it’s good for way longer than 30 days. The people saying throw it out after are just pissing away money on good product

From the general consensus on the Reddit boards and other places I checked the vial is usable for ar least 3 months , which is all I need it for. Wonder why so many at clinics say to throw it out after 28 days, sheesh! Thank god I didn’t try to manually put them in vials (with tubes, gloves lab spatula etc) .

My guess is that just has to do with the USP compounding "beyond use date" guidelines stating to not use/discard after 28-30 days. I've seen dudes argue elsewhere that the opened product won't be sterile after that date which of course is ridiculous.

C’mon man you know Reddit is strictly for entertainment only!!! Don’t follow advice from there. There are some real oddballs lurking there giving terrible advice 90% of the time. Stick to PM!!!! Glad to read you didn’t waste solid product.
