Jesse Marundes gym. He is standing behind sarge in that video. Jesse passed away in that gym of a heart attack training. He was 28. He got second place at worlds strongest man the year before that. Hometown hero. Good guy. Rest in peace brother!! Viking power!!

Sorry to hear about that. Do you know if he had a pre-existing heart condition? 28 is way too young to be checking out.

Jesse had a genetic heart defect, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. Im sure his massive size probably exacerbated this as well

He Never knew he had a heart defect. That guy wouldn’t go to the doctor unless h was crawling in on all fours. Plus he was just A big guy and he pushed himself really hard. Sometimes he litterally trained all day long. Find another 6”4 325 lb guy that could do 20+clap pull-ups lol I’ll prob never see another human train as hard as jesse did. Big fast strong super athletic dude. I’m proud to say I knew him.

I will never understand why men are such morons when it comes to going to the doctor. Do most men think not going makes you a "man"? What it really makes you is DUMB and as previous stated, DEAD. I'm too smart for that.
