I couldn't agree more.

Every year I grow the most in summer, because I can basically sleep 9-9.5 hrs due to no school. Rest of the year with school and work; it's hard getting enough sleep.

I don't care what anybody says; your recovery is severely hampered if you don't get enough sleep and train intensely. You also feel like dogshit, appetite goes in the shitter, and your progression slows down regardless of the drugs you are taking.

This is why IMO; drugs like tren that mess with your CNS and sleep are best left for prep; you need those snooze hours to grow.

Sure. But the fundamentals often get bogged down under the useless stuff nowadays. Plus Stan's rant includes the mention of Vitamin D3 and it's role on REM sleep which is pretty cool. All you pasty vampires out there should take note :cool:
 
I watch all his videos, he's one smart dude.. He's got me doing 10 minute walks after meals now and I've got to admit, I'm feeling much better.

I’ve watched some of his videos but didn’t see this one. He mention doing this simply to help with digestion of the food or what’s his reasoning in his eyes?

I'm lucky to be able to sleep 11:30pm until 8:30 am every night, 9 hours every night. Feels so much better than when i was getting just 6-7 hours a few years ago
 
When I work 12s I get 6-7 hours sleep. 4 days in a row of that and I'm exhausted.
 
I'm always amazed when people say they sleep 9/10 hours a day. I couldn't if you paid me. Half your day is wasted.

What do you do for a living?
 
Wow I have slept more than 6 maybe 7 in years. I average 4-6 hours sleep. I just can't stay asleep that long. I also work swing shifts that keep me pretty unregulated.

Very smart. Super in tune with his body. Just not the best genetics for bodybuilding....

Been listening to a lot of his rants lately, rather good at digging into things I must say. But seriously, I can’t be the only one who gets a little on edge when he starts talking with a rhyme cadence...

I have a successful business and work 10-12 hours 6 days per week

9 hours sleep
12 hours work
3 hours for training/eating/everything else

Nothing beats having energy all day and not being sleepy. I used to get less sleep and productivity was down even though I was putting in more hours

I’m the opposite; I have several successful businesses and I feel really groggy if I sleep too much. I feel good all day on 7ish hours of sleep. Saturday I’ll sometimes sleep 8-9 hours but usually feel more sluggish throughout the day.

I have heard some people are odd hour sleepers and some are even. I feel much better on 7 hours than 8 hours.
 
I saw a study a few years ago tracking many thousands of Dr.'s And it showed that Dr.r's that slept 6 hours a day lived longer then others. And the ones that slept over 8 hours had the shortest life spans.
 
Impossible for me to sleep more than 6 hours straight. I fall asleep at 23:40, but I'm awake before 7, many times before 6.

In my case the best are 5-6 hours of sleep and an extra hour in the afternoon, at 17:00.
