Always a pleasure listening to Stan, he's shared so much information on podcasts.

What's interesting was his approach for contest prep; Flex had him use less during contest prep than off season according to him: "You need very little to maintain".

Watched this last week. Great interview, highly recommended.

I watched a lot of his videos and it really changed my diet. His take on food and training is top notch. I just wish he didnt drive a fucking hummer ....

What were some of the most beneficial changes you've implemented since watching him?

What were some of the most beneficial changes you've implemented since watching him?

- mash style PWO meals are super cheap and tons of easily digestible nutrients
- added more steak/beef/eggs/spinach and added in Olive oil/Avacado
- brought in more spices/herbs/sodium
- less fruit/dairy/oatmeal/beans/whey/Egg whites
- cardio only as LISS while your food digest
- little to no MISS cardio just more time lifting
- always fucking Costco

Strongest part of the vertical system is theres plenty of room for wiggle. My grocery bill is under $100 a week as a result, adding some chicken/fish/Egg whites/PB/whey is a cheap way to add in some extra high quality protein on top of the high quality meals sugested by Stan. I do eat vegetarian fed eggs, but I don't get anything else fancy.

Digestion prior to vertical diet; 6/10
Digestion after vertical diet; 9/10

my buddy loves it, he showed me some videos to watch I haven't gotten around to it yet. He does it pretty by the book with the whole OJ or Cranberry juice post meal. Do you follow it strictly? If you are ok with it you should post a daily diet for a workout day. I know he includes OJ/dextrose as the intra or post shake from what I researched.
