I'm guilty. Yes that's right I went to the fair this year again and ate some of the food. Being from the Midwest I feel drawn to the fair like sailors being drawn to the rocky shores by the Sirens. This year I didn't pig out and I didn't really eat stuff that was really horrible. I know, whats the point of going to the fair if you are not going to eat fried oreos right? Well I have to say I saw something when I was there that made me do a double take and then snap of a photo of it just so I had proof. While I was standing in line to pick up my Flintstone like turkey leg, I see something out of the corner of my eye that grabs my attention. There is one vendor that is there every year and they serve all kinds of crap you have to cook on an open bbq grill. Burgers, ribs, turkey legs, ect and if you can't see it walking to the food area on the midway, you will be able to smell it soon enough. So I'm waiting in line and then I see it. "What the fuck is that?" is what I belted out when I saw the thing. The picture does not do it justice. One of the guys cooking on the grill told me it was roughly 40lbs of beef brisket. I just thought I would share the pic and story for all you beef eaters out there. Ahhh yes, foods that are not meant to be fried, morbidly obese people, and slabs of beef cooking at the fair....it's the American way!
