Need way more info and context. They will diagnose you with CKD based on a simple eGFR reading from creatinine. At 22 I was diagnosed with stage 2+ CKD due to a poor {falsely} high creatinine reading. I actually had to go to a specialist and we were talking about transplants, my future life in dialysis, etc.
Fast forward a couple weeks later and a 24 hour urine screen, ultrasound, and cystatin c and the doctors exact words were "not only do you not have CKD, but your kidneys are optimally healthy". At 42...my eGFR is even better...20 years later.
My point is, you may have a kidney issue...or you very well may not at all. Cystatin C and 24 hour urine screen and all your questions will be answered.
There are countless bodybuilders in my shoes seeing specialists and told they are going to die very young...only to be told 1-2 weeks later..."wow! your kidneys are in great shape...nevermind".
