Steroids for post tendon surgery?

Guys.

Has anyone here ever had to have a torn tendon reattached via surgery? (Quad, tricep, achilles, bicep, etc)

This is something I'm prolly looking at from an injury.

What steroids, if any, would be beneficial during the recovery phase? To retain muscle and speed recovery.... but without interfering with tendon reattachment and recovery.

This is something that just happened to Evan Centopani's quadricep, and he made a speedy recovery without losing tons of mass. He has a Youtube series about it. Obviously, he was eating well, but could not share his PED regimen... but surely he used something.

Tips?

The AAS that appear to rebuild collagen are EQ, Anavar and Deca. However, I recall Mike Arnold saying that nandrolones actually weakened the tendons, as does Tren and high Test.

What would be a solid combo for tendon recovery? If anything.

I am 50 YO, tore my tricep tendon about 9 years ago, and had my quad tendon repaired last year. I did not use anything with my tricep, but used 2 ius of HGH for my quad. Mine was a delayed surgery, I tore the quad 10 years ago (did not know, long story) and finally found someone to fix it last year. My doc did hint that HGH would help. I would not use any anabolics as you may know they weaken tendons.

I ruptured a quad tendon in 2002 requiring major surgery...I then ruptured a tri tendon in 2007 also requiring major surgery...take it from a scarred iron vet...DO NOT take any aas for months ...let it heal...also be very careful with rehab...we are way too aggressive with rehab...I am now 58 and am experiencing more tri tendon inflammation...we never learn.........kvh

Just had my tricep tendon reattached to my elbow 3 weeks ago. Just running HGH and letting things heal. And having an umbilical hernia fixed in the next couple days. Take it easy and let your body heal.

I rupture my distal tendon of bic ? I use just after surgery, bpc157 and hgh , after 2 weeks i begin again to train upper body

You can do the TRT as you generally do not want you levels to drop too low, but I would stick to HGH for tendon healing. I would say no to the anavar for now

Im basically immobilized and fearful of losing muscle. However, i dont want to jeopardize or impair tendon healing for the sake of retaining muscle
