What do most of you do when it comes to your diet?

If you still feel hungry, do you still continue to add meals, macros even if your gaining at a reasonable rate? OR do you listen to your body and eat more?

have a template that you follow religiously, but listen when your body is telling you when it needs certain things- for me it seems to be sodium and of all things, sugar.

just try not to confuse the mental cravings of the diet and the real physical ones.

I dont crave sweets or any garbage. I craving a second plate of chicken/rice, steak or etc..lol...nothing bad
 
Depends on if I paid someone for the diet advice or not. lol
 
if you're trying to gain mass and you are hungry then I'd say eat :)

I remind myself first..the reason I hired a trainer and needed a "plan" is
because Im not too sure how to "listen" to my body and distinguish mental and physical cravings.

To me "listening" to our body is a skill, that we eventually acquire.
At least thats how I see it....
 
always listen to your body with everything...it is the best indicator hands down of what you need

Not the same thing to me. I think there is a difference between adding more meals and making larger meals.
 
Always listen to your body, but don't rationalize and listen to negative voices in your mind aka "weakness".

Pick a route to go with while always listening to your body. Experiment for yourself with self timed trials. Accept the fact that you will have to make changes per goals.

Is there? Then why not try it and save us the time answering? Some things you need to do for yourself man..........common sense.......if you are gaining by eating more and you are lean.......wtf is the problem? I would listen to your trainer......he knows what he is doing

ALL this was, was to see what others on the thread do and if some others have suggestions. I didnt see the harm in asking this. However, I do listen to my trainer, 100%.

Well, you have wasted my time recently asking me to train you then backing away...............stick to a PLAN......please, thats my advice.....there are no magic tricks here. TRUST SHELBY
