strange lump under my armpit

It's definately muscle, seems to be apart of my pec, but the outer fascia towards the front can still be felt and pulled tight when I pull my arm high and back. It's a little sore when I press it, but no acute pain, and I never had any pain to tell me when exactly it happened. I went really heavy for chest on saturday and had felt great since. I had a pretty moderate back day yesterday....w/ bi's......and I discovered this lump this morning in the shower. It feels like a circle, 3 inches in diameter, the center will give to pressure, feels watery.

Anyone ever have this? No blue cross while I'm laid off, so I'm curious to know if it may be nothing......or if I'm going to have to fork over some money to the doc.

The only lumps ive ever had under my arm pits were lymph nodes, they were sore to touch and were about an inch or so long....

ive had lumps appear under my armpit randomly, found out that i was allergic to the new deodorant i had switched to.....have u changed deodorants recently?

yeah actually, from my normal old spice to the origional scent.......maybe that's it...

I just wanted to know that I didn't herniate the fascia of my pec....I'd feel that right? Have discoloration and all that? Because I have none of those. It's just swollen.

I'm not sure what it is but it hasn't changed at all since yesterday, so that's not good. Looks like I'll get a check up.

I had this happen to me about a month ago. A lump under my left armpit after a heavy chest day, and a few days later under my right one. Feels very strange, hard, but tender. Mine went away after a few days, but very strange, I think it was an allergic reaction or something

Could also be a cyst, or if you shave your armpits it could be an in-grown hair.

Keep an eye on and it and hopefully it will go away.

i bet anything it is a cyst.

i've had 2, one under my armpit (same as you) and one was a polynidal one which is right at your buttcrack .

the armpit one came out of no where, wash in the shower and felt it and randomly kept growing and got bigger. eventually had to get it lanced and drained. sucked for like 2 weeks but everything went back to normal.

turned out to be a lymph node, w/ the short time after chest day....I was afraid I'd fucked myself up.

I'd never had one flare up before, scared the shit out of me.
