Sorry to hear about the surgeries. It sounds like you're daughter has strabismus, which is usually cleared up after you strengthen the opic nerve (with patching). Unfortunately my boy has Hypoplasia of the nerve which doesn't get better. My son hasn't gone on growth hormone yet because he actually had a regular IGF-1 level on his last blood test, so I'm praying all the time that he won't need it but he is a bit small, there again I'm 5 7 so who knows? The school years horrify me, but all we can do is all we can do you know?
our kids have a lot in common. My daughter has an eye turn, she had surgery when she was two to correct it but the surgery didn't work. She is 9 now and has to wear a patch for four hours a day to correct it now. she also is on gh therapy and that really works good. She is now one of the bigger kids in her class. she was tiny before gh.
