Being new to this board,and as an RN(psychiatric),I have a few questions for you guys. They've probably been covered before,but I hope you will indulge me. Are AAS really worth it? Do you honestly feel that they enhance your life,as well as your bodies? Whether you be pro or amateur,are they worth the time,$$,and possible legal risks? I do believe in the legalization of roids. I believe that if a transgender/transexual can be given female hormones pre-op to help the body adjust,as well as enhance their perceived "womanliness",I believe that men deserve the same choice. Jailing guys for what at the worst could be vanity,is not the ways to deal with the roids problem. Any thoughts? No flames please,just friendly honesty! Peace,and be well.....

We all have to take calculated risks. When we drive to work, smoke a cigar, take an aspirin, we are at risk of death or illness. Are AAS worth it? To me, yes. I am not attempting to be Mr. Olympia nor am I going to compete anytime soon. I feel good when I am on. I am more confident in both my personal and professional lives. I am healthy and have frequent medical check ups. Until recently have enjoyed 6 years of weight training with no injuries, managed to gain about 75 lbs, and completely change my appearance. I wont put training or supplements ahead of my family. It is really kind of low on priorities.

I believe that most members are some sort of "bodybuilder" - wether it be Pro, National-Level competitor, local-level competitor, or just being the best they can be.

Drugs are just a "part" of that lifestyle, not the end-all. It's not like the general public's perception of just "take a pill" and get big!
