Suggestion/Question for SPAM

Is there a way to direct the spam report to the mods PM box?

And if possible, could you guys elect some forum leaders that just have the ability to delete spam and not full mod privaleges?

I'd be happy to help if needed to clean up the threads on a daily basis-it's get's really irritating and I know guys can't be online all the time.

These SPAM freaks need to go big time. :spam:

You can hit the report triangle, top right of each post. This was designed for reporting spam...

I hear ya, MG. Certain admin. features are required though, in order to create a 'forum leader' etc. if it's possible. I can't personally do it. However, anyone can feel free to pm me with a link to a specific thread with the name, post#(s), or at least something to make it easier to find and eliminate.

I hate it as much as much as everyone does. I don't know the exact reason for the influx. Sorry that I'm not of more help.

What would help a lot is having an introduction forum where you have to have 5 post in before you can post in the main forums.

I've seen that on another major forums and spam is never seen because the spammers get banned before they can even shit up the forum.

You can hit the report triangle, top right of each post. This was designed for reporting spam...

the problem with the report button is you can only report one post every 60 seconds or so...limited by the post limit time....

first off stop trying to steal my idea

and second for now all you can do is pm a mod with the link to the thread (copy and paste) and the post # in the thread. I will be the first to say that tyrone has been doing a hell of a job whenever i pm him. I know he is getting tired of getting pm's from me...LOL

i always reported spam here. mods will get an email notification once you report a thread. this board is pretty good of cleaning up spam. i brought this up once because spammers were posting things close to child porn. i was told this site gets attacked more than we know.

Just wanted to let you and who ever views this thread that we usually don't use original IP's nor emails and sometimes that's where it's sent.
We are all so freakin busy, you'd not believe it. Please just pm me with the link and post numbers, okay...I'm doing my best with life issues like us all.
