Supplement Regiment To Live By

During a cycle, this is my supplement regiment:
1) ZMA by EAS: 4 before workout and 4 at bedtime
2) GKG by EAS: 4 after workout and 4 at bed time
3)BCAA's Anabolic Fuel by Twin Labs: 4 before and 4 after workout
4) Lecithin 1200mg 1 w/ each meal
5) Multi Vit/ Min 1 a day
6) NitroTech and CellTech

Some cycles I will add some other supps (money permitting)
but the above is a standard I live by.

eas makes good products.
I don't care for the muscletech products. They are to overated. and redicusly priced.There are alot better products out there and cheaper. I prefer isopure brand. Pure whey isolate with no carbs. It doesn't taste that bad. It can be alittle bit pricey but i usually buy online and it is pretty cheap. Look at all those muscle mags 3/4 of the mags are ads for muscletech. Who do you think owns most of the mags. Think about it.I gained 20 pounds of pure rock hard muscle in 30 days.Come on just taken there products yeah right and they don't tell you how much gear they are taken. Hope that helps and I hope I didn't offend anyone but I think Muscltech is crap. Thast just my opinion.

I'm sorry to say but I think that you read/believe too much marketing hype/bullshit.
Oh, and MuscleTech is the worst choice for supps.

Supps

1st i think ppl should spend more money on real food and less on supps. If your on gear, food is most important, then i would say:

1) some form of whey protien w/ some dextrose or Mat. added in post workout.
2)muti-vit
3) glut. (if money permits)
4)extra vit C and E

def get away from the name brand stuff as ur paying for a brand name nota quality product there are plenty of other companies which make a good zma at a better price then eas. gkg i dont see as that helpful

multi vitamin id bump to 2 a day and get somehting besides centrum if ur using that
nitrotech and celltech is bs, i know big a will recomend synthetek but id say go to proteincutomizer.com

my biggies r r-ala,cla, fishoils, ground flax seeds (not oil)

1) u dont need zma , most athletes seem to be zinc deficient , not magnesium deficient , so a simple zinc gluconate will do .
2)multivit is fine ...
3)use the bcaa's during ur workout , but really , if ure getting 30 grams protein pre workout and 100 grams protein post workout , u dont need any bcaa .
4)as for the muscletech products , i wud rather go in for some decent protein powder , u will save urself some dollars that way .


anyway , as far as what i use goes , i use a simple ec stack pre workout , protein powder like 200 grams a day , simple liver protector(liv 52) . thats it .
 
my young bruther who is 18is the same way he has all this overpriced cell tech and nitrotech on his bedroom floor my friends too. i had to school the on how to make thier own cell tech etc etc. dont need zma if you have a good multi vitiamin.

my supplement regimn is as follows

1.protien of all kinds a prefer to buy a mixed PROTIEN formula
2.multi vitamin/ anitoxident formula with at least 1000mg vit c in it.
3.omega 3 fish oils
4. flax seed oil
5. glutamine
6.creatine
7.ALA
8. CLA
9. addtional vit c, e and magnesium i like alot of magnesium as it is a natural muscle relaxent i take about 2000mg ed
10. melatonin before bed.


this is my normal regimn above THAT I THINK COVERS THE BASICS. i add ECA when needed pre workout etc. etc. liver protectant formulas sometimes like i just bought to bottles of liv 52 at GNC for .99 cents each on thier clearance shelf.

any type of organic health food store will sell them, get them whole and then ground them as they go rancid quickly

fish oil caps are gotten from kilosports.com, any other supp questions pm me
 
Always:
1) multi vit
2) high dextrose, medium protein, and zero fat post workout drink

Bulking:
1) Creatine
2) a "bulking agent" of choice
3) MRPs

Cutting:
1) Thermogenic, typically MD-6, of which I bought 4 bottles off a friend for $15
2) Mag-10, a prohormone combination, which is a cheap, effective, and legal way for me to gain lean mass and strength while dropping bodyfat.
3) protein powder
4) Udos choice oil
5) (sometimes) ALA, but would now use only r-ALA

Most important:
No matter what phase I'm in, I make sure I have my dietary needs satisfied. When cutting I keep it strict, and when bulking I just make sure to eat tons and keep protein high. Also, I tend to think 95% of supplements are bunk.

Also, I would like to echo the popular notion of FUCK EAS and FUCK MUSCLETECH. I also hate Biotest even though I use a couple of their products... shame on me.

First fuck muscletch, eas and any other super hyped up bullshit.

If your going to pick a companies supplemetns i like anything by big A's company Synthetek and anything by bev. international and the company who makes isopure. Period!

1. Vit/mineral and a good source
2. a protein powder (sythetek if it gets to the usa ;) )
3. Flax or fish oil
4.Vit C, E and citris bioflavinoids
5. And the ultimate secret of the pros WHOLE FOODS!
6. gluatmine

Im so sick of people looking for the magic pill etc. Its called work, rest, food and drugs. Simple as that, man it feels good to say this.... personal training has me talking people out of muscletech bullshit all day long so im a bit annoyed at how people go hook line and sinker.
 
Yup I was going to say the same, but everyone already said it-fuck EAS and Muscletech. Youre swallowing the hype hook, line, and sinker. Twinlab is the only so-called name brand products I will buy.

-Multivitiman-mineral
-zinc (I was deficient-my nails were falling apart until I started this)
-Milk Thistle (or the Synthetek liver protectent product)
-glutamine year round
-Protein isolate/maltodextrin/flax oil shake x 2 (daytime)
-Protein isolate/flax oil shake x 3 (nitetime)
-Protein isolate/twinlab gainers fuel fruit juice shake (post workout)

OFF CYCLE/bridging (this in addition to the above)
-PS for cortisol control
-creatine
-glucosamine/condriton - 1500/1200mg

and a few protein drinks throughout my day

Oh yeah, and I keep those new Detour bars in my glove box, just in case of emergency.
I walk around the club I snacking on them while I'm working.
