Supps to treat ED

Surely, figure out whats keeping your E from doing it thing. Is it an aggressive use of AI?, competitive DHT use?. `Too low a T so the aromatase activity is not optimal? `Loosen the reins on the E as libido is VERY dependent on that.
A large number of individuals "feeling better" from HCG co-administration are in fact reporting back on the temporary E spike response.
Thank you! Normally only runt trt at 120mg/wk divided 3 equal doses, M W F, with no AI and E is usually between 35-40, but... Felt I needed a boost so I ran t-cyp at 600mg/wk and 100mg dros enan, divided into 3 equal doses M W F, for the past 6 weeks with .25mg of arimidex on Mon and Fri. Prescribed pharmaceuticals from local pharmacy, except for dros… Not sure where E is but neither Cialis nor Levitra helped maintain a solid erection (normally not needed) and libido has been noticeably lower than normal. Probably will just stay with what I'm prescribed going forward. It's the first time I've deviated from trt in 10+ years with the exception of going up to 200mg/wk a couple of times each year... Sucks getting old.

Let your E back in-range, you'll be just fine. You have many good years still in you ask Emerick :)
 
You guys are great. So many awesome replies. Good news is some of my ED issues have improved. I've dropped everything other than physician prescribed TRT just to rule everything out. I'm 99.9% sure this situation has a direct link to an Adderall prescription that my doc gave me awhile back. Although I haven't used it in along time and never will again, this side effect is one that has lingered. I've found a combination of Cialis and Viagra to work really well in times that I need it. Some natural products that I have used that I feel like helped have been beet root and pomegranate used on a daily basis. I have an appointment in about a month to see some doctors who specialize in ED who claim to have some treatments that may cure ED other than just treating it with supplements and medication. We shall see.

I have to second this.

DISCLAIMER: I say this without judgement because I've had my ED issues on and off and it's been a pain to nail the exact cause, but I will say, having been on various forums for various hobbies I like, the hardcore bodybuilding forums are the only ones where there's constantly posts on ED and guys taking stacks of supplements before a girl comes over.

Among the "normal peasants" (lol), sex doesn't require that much thought. Girl comes over, you fool around and get it on. Seems like among the more serious bodybuilding crowd, sex is almost like a mini 24 hour contest-prep and if you don't peak right on time it's a flop (pun kinda intended). It shouldn't be like that!

I'm in the boat with ya'll so again, no judgement, but I think if we pinning cattle hormones and research liquids, we are essentially druggies, if we don't sugarcoat it. I'd say, if this is really important to you:

1. Take TRUE TRT (not this 1200-1500ng/dl crap that all these clinics are doing, high normal range 600-800). Estrogen should be at a normal range if you aren't pushing yourself above normal limits, but still keep an eye on it just in case.

2. Really focus on RBC/Hematocrit, blood pressure, resting heart rate (those last two have been a struggle for me)

3. CARDIO!!! Nothing to do with bodybuilding, everyone should be doing 20-40 minutes of moderately intense cardio seven days a week, don't think of it in bodybuilding terms, think of it in terms of brushing your teeth or showering, it's just something you do. The amount of bodybuilders I've seen do a swim or bike ride and they literally look like they are going to die, while their out of shape friends are perfectly fine, is cringe-worthy. True story, I worked for a dude who competed and looked incredible. Got some mountain bikes so he and his girlfriend could go riding, the guy made it around one block and was on the floor gasping for air, while the girlfriend who had never seen a gym in her life and ate whatever she wanted didn't even break a sweat (that's NOT right!).There's all these lame excuses "oh the muscle makes it harder to float, I'm fast twitch", no dude, the fact that you consider 20 minutes on a treadmill at 2.0mph a cardio workout is what's gassing you out. Let me put it this way, you know how we laugh at guys doing curls in the squat rack because they look like morons? Well the cardio guys are looking like that at us because (some) of us think an hour brisk-walk on a treadmill is a grueling cardio workout. I know it's not fun for some of us, but it's just gotta be done.

I'd say diet, but I do believe if you're strong as an ox and have elite endurance, you can slack a bit on diet (a BIT).

I've started to change things because it's just getting ridiculous. I'm not slacking on the weights, but I should put just as equal aggression into cardiovascular work. Low RBC/Hematocrit, heart rate below 60 (50 even better), 120/80 BP MAX. I think if some of us focused on meeting those goals as much as focus on adding 1/4 inch to our calves or 50lbs to our squat, we wouldn't have so many of these "i can't get it up" threads. And yes, that does mean laying off a lot of the stuff we take as well, at least the more damaging compounds.

I say this with love guys cause I'm no better, I've done some stupid shit and I've got a lot of fixing up to do, but at least for the younger guys, I don't want them going down the road that some of us older guys did (I literally remember back in like 1999, some bodybuilding forum that recommended eating gravy and heavy cream all day and avoiding walking around the house too much to not lose mass lol... don't do this)

at times i have been quite fond of another sort of "stimulant" and it totally destroys my performance in this nature, takes 4-6 weeks to fully recover.
 
Do you guys notice a difference in your erection quality when lean vs not lean.

My best sex life was when I was very lean from a "contest-type" diet, and rebounding. While I was on the diet sex drive was low, and I would even have dream about "Cakes and pizza" but when I stopped the diet and was eating normal again, I was still very lean but not in starvation calories. the Erections were Amazing.

(also adds to kinda what Bored stiff is saying) my cardio capacity was better than my usual baseline, as I was doing a lot of cardio by the end of the contest diet, so my HR was low.

I have never been able to get back to the same level of leaness again, to validate my theory.
 
So, I skipped my dose of losartan potassium that I take for prehypertension and took 5mg of tadalafil and was able to achieve a pretty firm erection and perform like I normally do. So it may have been from an interaction with my losartan or possibly blood pressure was a little too low which may have caused my issue and not necessarily from less than optimal estrogen. Not really sure but thought I'd share just in case someone is in a similar situation...

How about this - I can get rock hard at will, libido is always sky high, but fuck it's hard to cum!! It's only started getting more and more noticeable the last few years (45yo now). Different women, multiple women, or just myself - it's just as hard to cum and I have to "force" it to happen, if it happens at all. I miss that uncontrollable "have to cum" feeling.

Are you on any medications Big A? I know things like Paxil- Prozac- Dapoxetine -Tramadol (just to name a few) and any opiate type drugs can cause delayed ejaculation.
I've always heard that when Prolactin or Progesterone levels are off it can cause a delayed response and even less sensitivity and satisfaction.
 
Hypothyroidism can lower libido and cause ED

I haven't had any blood work to check this in a couple of years. Last time it was in perfect range but I wasn't having ED issues then either. Maybe this HGH has my thyroid out of whack?

Hard to really rule it out without getting free t3 and free t4 tested. I know it has a negative impact on my erection quality since I have struggled to improve my thyroid numbers.

My case as well....when leaner I have better erections, and much hornier...even when on tren...well, for awhile, lol.
