sushi while dieting?

what do you think
i like to get sushi (just tuna and rice)
i'm 16 weeks out.
can i still have it?

i would think it will be ok to eat before 6pm. I wouldnt eat more then two handfulls though.
 
Is it EVER!!!

It contains sooo many Omege 3 and 6's and is great for you. The rice itself is hardly anything as far as carbs go. Here is what I usually eat when dieting:

-6 Salmon
-6 Yellow Tail
-6 Eel
-1 California Roll
-1 Salmon Skin Roll

Sushi is fine bro!, and yes "Ry" knows his sh*t!!, and by the way we're glad he came back, for awhile I was just making up answers that I didn't know the right answers to! lol:D
 
I use it and recommend clients use it for infrequent, high carb days. The sticky rice is very high glycemic carbs (due to the prep involved with getting the rice 'sticky').
Depending on what your carb profile looks like, sushi can easily be a weekly or bi-weekly high carb meal.

Ry must not have much of an appetite cuz when I sit down to a sushi meal you can bet your ass I am getting quite a bit of carbs. Isn't Ry a bantamweight?? ;)

Of course the soy sauce (that you mix w/the wasabi) is loaded with salt-so not good right before a show.

Actually I don't eat the rice on ALL the pieces. I do eat some though and have eaten ALL the rice on several occasions but, I allow myself 150-200grams carbs on LOW DAYS cause in offseason I eat over 1000grams a day so 200 is starving myself.LOL

Theres got to be something said for the benefits of eating sushi.

Anyway how many fat Japanese people generally do you see? And they live off the stuff!
