switching protein sources (need help)

I need to replace around 144 gram protein with something less filling.
I can't seem to eat more than a pound of chicken breast per day. So I was supplementing 144 grams protein from whey in addition to the 1 pound of chicken.

A few things :

1. Whey really bothers my stomach ( even the "great" brand here.)
2. Red meat is way too filling and hurts my stomach
3.ive used eq and ghrp and such (the hunger doesnt help)

I was considering the following..
Egg white protein (whole egg gives me issues as well)
Or Essential Amino acids.
I was hoping for the cheapest option.
I was also considering fish as its less filling for me.

Can anyone help me?
 
I would recommend going with fish. I personally like to keep shakes to an absolute minimum and like to consume almost all my protein through whole foods.

If red meat bothers you, and so do powders, then go with fish. The only reason I don't eat fish as much is because I think it gets nasty once refrigerated, so I always have to make it fresh which can be very inconvenient at times.

You can do a shake custom mixed or straight beef protein powder, eggs, casein or plant based. Lots of options to choose from if whey is not an option anymore

You get 6 cartons for 9 dollars and each carton has 50 grams of protein!
Make shakes (look for recopies)

White fish, cod, tilapia, orange roughy, even shrimp.

and I was also going to say liquid egg whites. I drink a carton in the morning, best thing I ever decided to do.

If im in the mood ill drink several cartons throughout the day. Your body digest wutever you put in that shit.
 
Liquid egg whites are great too, I usually drink that in the morning with a scoop of whey (if I don't feel like eating eggs).

Figured they would hurt your stomach too, that's why I didn't recommend it.

The problem is supplement quality.

I usually use TN brand stuff. So if so I'd get that.
But. It worries me when s supplier starts selling many varieties of protein.
If I get beef isolate I wanna make sure it's completely legit

Never heard about the body not absorbing it. I have been chugging two post workout for awhile.

im confident that the combination of those two drugs (especially in conjunction) would lead to some substantial complications...including digestion-related difficulties..

No.

and this has always been the case.
 
I know a lot of people that one brand of protein powder fucks them up while another one is completely perfect for them. So I would say try different brands. I use muscle feast and they are great but you have to sign up for their VIP discounts and email sales. Only get there stuff while is on sale.


Other than that, everything else that people have mentioned, fish, and also look into different beef proteins (as not just cows) but to get a good price you have to go to a butcher.

P.S. for great egg white price call your bakeries. Those guys get super bulk deals.
 
Try switching the type of whey you use. For instance, micro filtrate gives me lots of cramping and gas, but I get almost non of that with cold filtrate. I also vote for fish(tuna even for convenience) and egg whites

This is exactly what I do and use (Costco egg whites). A cup of egg whites is equivalent to a scoop of TN whey I use (around 25g of protein each). I alternate between the 2 depending on how I feel.

Lately I'm not taking either as my stomach has had issues as well. I've been thinking of just running aminos instead of whey, it's easier on the stomach and the fruity flavors taste great.

Has anyone ever substituted EAAs for whey as their protein intake?
