As a body builder or power lifter you get prescribed this shit it will ruin your ligaments and tendons so fuck general population study to every fucking couch potato bull shit fucking study. It will stay with you years to come it cave me in years later!

6 years now and still dealing with the Cipro drama. Getting a little stronger but the neurological stuff lasts and lasts./

Still working out. went from not being able to dress myself at my weakest, to lifting one spoon, then two spoons.

Took me a year to get back up to lifting 5 pounds. still gonna push that silverwear!

If I didn't already have vision issues I would try some juice but just not in the cards for me.

Was about to take cipro and kept thinking the name sounded familiar... checked my bookmarks and found that I had bookmarked this thread several years ago.

Wanted to bump it in case more people want to discuss.

I found the Leptin/Cipro connection with raising MMP interesting.

Ive take it several times and it was the only thing strong enough to handle the problems I had at the time. Worked great on me. Scary to think that it can harm someone though. I wonder if there is a way to screen for that?

The one time I took it I had a very bad abscess that had spread to my blood stream I think. I had a high fever and that stuff smashed it in about 1 day.

I popped my distal bicep tendon while taking cipro, and the injury wasn’t from lifting weights.

Be careful with these antibiotics...

Of the rare adverse effects associated with Fluoroquinolones (e.g. Cipro, Moxi, Levo, etc), tendon rupture ranks as one of the more common ones. The worst adverse effect I've seen that was associated with Cipro was Toxic Epidermal Necrolysis Syndrome (TENS). No bueno.
